Formulated with more than 70% certified organic ingredients, this moisturizing lip balm helps soothe, soften and protect lips. Use every two hours to shield the delicate skin on your lips from UVA and UVB rays and as needed for silky, smooth lips.

Pleasantly Surprised
I am somewhat of a skeptic when it comes to lip balms since I have never found the perfect daytime lip product. I had been using Burt's Beeswax for years because it was all natural and more or less kept my lips hydrated throughout the day (with multiple applications). However, recently, my lips have been rejecting almost every lip balm out there and they just haven't stayed moisturized. I had never given much thought to an SPF lip product, but after learning how sensitive the skin on our lips is, I did some very thorough research and decided to give this product a try. I was really happy that this product didn't have petrolatum, menthol, or camphor in it since those ingredients dries out my lips like nothing else. On top of that, this lip sunscreen actually keeps my lips really smooth and hydrated! I don't need to reapply it too many times during the day because my lips stay soft and smooth, but I do reapply for the sunscreen effects. I don't know how well the sunscreen works since I have naturally dark lips, but I do like that it has a higher SPF rating than the average lip sunscreen. Also, the product goes on clear and has no white cast. The texture of this product may seen grainy when you're applying it, but it melts onto the lips very quickly and doesn't feel waxy, oily, or sticky. The scent is ok, not great, but not too terrible either. I took off one star because of the packaging. The actual stick of balm had come off the base, but I was able to push it back in and now it's fine. On a separate note, l like that the cover for the lip balm is a twist/screw mechanism and not a push/click mechanism, so it doesn't accidentally pop open in my purse. This product may cost more than the average lip balm, but for a SPF product with predominantly natural ingredients that actually keeps your lips hydrated and smooth without a white cast, I think it's worth the price.

I absolutely love the way this smells! It goes on very nicely and feels great. There have been times when I have been out in the sun all day and I come back inside with red lips! I don't have that anymore now that I am using a product for my lips that has spf in it.
