Best sunblock yet
I’ve tried just about everything under the sun and this matte sunblock is perfect for my combination, sensitive skin. Layers well with make up and keeps me from looking greasy. I have fair skin with freckles and the slight tint to this blends perfectly.

This dries so fast! It’s super hard to blend in. I’m going back to the original! My skin is pretty normal, maybe a tad dry. This might work better for someone with oily skin.

good ingredients but...
I switched over to this from EltaMD because it used physical sunscreen instead of chemical. It's not as easy to spread as Elta but it does offer a bit more coverage. The only problem is it seems like it made me break out, after being acne free for a long time.

Colorscience face shield Matte
Like all face shield from Colorscience, it has a nice creamy texture. Since I have melasma, this doesn’t cover completely like the Glow version. However, I like it for cloudy day because melasma show darker on sunny day.

Great except too dark/orange
I really wanted to keep this sunscreen but the color is way too orange for my fair skin tone. The consistency is very thick, which I thought I was going to hate, but as soon as it dried it felt like satin on the skin. And I really loved how matte it was because I have combination skin (oily T-zone/dry cheeks). The color coverage was more than I was expecting as I usually use the tinted version of the EltaMD UV Clear, which has pretty light coverage; as someone who doesn't wear foundation this felt like makeup to me, but not in a bad way. This sunscreen does transfer onto clothes pretty easily too so I'd be careful if applying this to your neck/ears (I usually use a non-tinted sunscreen on my ears/neck for this reason). If they made this in a lighter shade/color this would definitely have been my favorite tinted sunscreen, especially for days that I want more coverage/more of a makeup look.

Very different than the regular version. The closest thing I can compare this to is the Cotz tinted sunscreen. Kind of mousey? I am very pale due to my excessive sunscreen usage and this is too dark for me. The regular version and the glow are not too dark. Probably won't repurchase.

Thick and tinted
I'm fair, and on me this sunscreen is more like a (very) tinted moisturizer. I wish it were a thinner, lighter consistency. Still, as sunscreens go, it's excellent compared to everything else, at least if we're looking at mineral options only. It blends well and didn't break me out, and doesn't feel heavy on the skin.

Efficient and reliable
The consistency of this Matte sunscreen reminds me of my other fav brand spf 44. It’s a bit thicker in consistency and less runny than the normal color science. It also has tint that is a little more yellow/tan color than the normal Colorscience. Finish: a little bit less shiny and sticky than the normal colorscience sunscreen Smell is not overpowering. The cons: it transfer to clothes. It takes a while to set and feels a little sticky on my face. It also stings my eyes a little. I wish it was a bit cheaper. However, I will continue to repurchase. It is very convenient on the go and seems to offer good protection. For reference, I have medium normal skin
