Great texture, dries matte
I love that this is a physical sunscreen, no chemicals, and doesn't cause breakouts. Plus the niacinamide and other stuff in it is quite nice. It goes on smooth, dries matte, and doesn't look too chalky or white once you rub it in, although my skin is pretty fair. Primer and makeup go over it nicely without pilling. It isn't very thick which makes it easier to apply and a little goes a long way. I haven't had any issues with sweating it off or burning in my eyes, but for a pool day I would probably reapply frequently. I usually wear BB cream with spf over sunscreen at the pool, but with this, I feel like it makes my complexion look better, and probably would be able to go without BB over it. It reminds me of the Murad Environmental Protection spf 50...the color and consistency. This stuff is good, I plan to continue using since the texture is nice and it doesn't make me greasy looking. Good packaging too. No oxidation.

So sad it didn't work for me
I wanted this sunscreento work for me in the worst way. All the reviews are great and my friends who use it love it. It made my skin very red, rashy and stung a bit. My guess is it is the Niacinamide. I will have to look for another great sunscreen without that ingredient. Derm Store's customer service and return policy is so easy and accomodating. Five stars!

LOVE IT my new favorite face sunscreen
Only used it three times and loved it each time. Blends seamlessly with my skin, even though I use a lot on my neck and face (recommended 1/4 teaspoon), no white cast. Also leaves a nice glow/sheen that I like. I feel like I don't need a primer when I use this, I've just gone straight to concealer. Love that it's made of non-toxic ingredients, that it's SPF 50 and PA +++ and that Niacinamide is included.

Good Sunscreen Fluid for Fair Skin
I have been searching for a mineral facial sunscreen for AGES. I have a long list of requirements: no chemical sunscreens, no aluminum, mostly clean ingredient, no white cast, not too dark of a tint (I have fair skin), doesn't cause breakouts. I am also looking for a product that I can apply evenly with my fingers without the need to use a primer underneath or a makeup brush for application. Something quick and easy that I can wear everyday and feel like I am protected from the sun. This product is a fluid, so it is easy to apply evenly with your fingers. The color of the liquid is lighter than all tinted sunscreens I've seen, but it is not stark white. When I rubbed the product on my face, it blended seamlessly with my fair skin. I used setting power over the sunscreen just to diminish the slight sheen. I could not tell that I was wearing any product on my face. The downside is that this fluid doesn't cover any flaws, so if you're hoping to even out our face, this doesn't do that. Overall, this is a good everyday option for sun protection for someone with fair skin (I can't speak to how it would work for other skintones).

For reference, I have combination skin and the Paula's Choice Super light wrinkle defense is my HG sunscreen. But it is only SPF 30. I wanted to try something with a higher SPF and I had heard good things about the colorscience sunscreen. Tried it for the first time this morning. I hated it ! It is a liquid light texture apon first touch. However using the correct amount ,1/4 teaspoon for my entire face , made my skin feel so greasy and overly hydrated. My skin felt so smothered. It stayed so shiny and the product never really settled into the skin. I did not put makeup over this by the way. I ran a few errands and by the time I got home I quickly washed it off my face and applied my beloved Paula choice sunscreen. Too bad, I really wanted this to work. My 16 year old daughter also tried it and she said it gave her the same same heavy greasy feeling.
