Really gentle sunscreen!
I've been going through a rigorous exfoliation routine for the last few months, I damaged my barrier a few times with AHAs and this was the only one that didn't sting me the next day. Best sun protection I've found
After trying so many products that don't work and litter my cabinet space, I found this one really works for me. It is almost undetectable on my face yet it can appear to blend surface as a foundation does. With the masks we wear these days, it is wonderful to not have all the makeup in the mask after use. Great skin care!
I decided to try a different brand than I usually use and I'm really happy I did. This blends beautifully and somehow makes my skin look better. I wish it had a slight bit more pigment, but it doesn't leave a white cast, so I'm ok with that. I feel moisturized, too, so less chance of breakouts because no need to layer products. Spent the entire afternoon in the sun and didn't get burned at all. Highly recommend!

Don't know if I got a bad batch, but it smelled funky when it came out of the tube...It's also really too thick to apply gently...Takes more work than I'd like. Also very greasy and left me shiny. I will say the color worked on my fair/light neutral skin tone. Was impressed that it left no white cast. But I have been getting more pimples using this as well. Could be the silicones! I love that it offers spf 50 pa+++ but they need to reformulate this! Also...why offer such a small bottle at such a high price if you want us all to use sunscreen and reapply it so frequently? If this was $20 it would be more reasonable! Not worth it.

Nice texture and natural coverage, too light pink in color for me
Firstly, Dermstore sent me an opened and used bottle. I recommend everyone check that the product has never been opened before. I've ordered many things off of this website and haven't encountered this problem before. On to the sunscreen. Tint: The tint is a light pink that is not universal. It would work for pink-fair skinned individuals. Definitely not for those with more melanin in their skin than me, in no way will this "works on all skin types and tones." I very fair with neutral or yellow undertones and this is too pink for me. The color is just like SuperGoop!'s zinc screen. Once I spread it out very thinly it's not bad but it's not flattering either and at that point I'm not sure if I have enough on to be effective against the sun. Texture: I have to give it to them, out of the several fancy sunscreens I've tried this one has one of the best feels. It isn't greasy and it dries down nicely. Even though I don't like the color I might re-buy it just to use it around my eyes or neck. It feels nice and I can actually forget that it is on. Overall I would recommend this for the cooler-toned fair people. I think they have finally come out with other shades if so, those are probably worth a try. I have very sensitive skin because I am on retinoids and my skin is always irritated. I also have hormonal acne around the lower 3rd of my face. This did not sting or irritate my skin. I only tried this once so the fact that it is not non-comodogenic may be a real issue that I am not aware of yet worth considering for those with acne. I like the packaging and the fact that it has no fragrance.

Insufficient sun protection
I received a sample of this, I believe with my last Dermstore order. Normally I would not review a product which I only received a small sample of, but in this case I feel it's necessary. I take sunscreen seriously and am a person who applies it daily (often multiple times a day), every day of the year, even when I am indoors. I was excited to try a traditional, liquid sunscreen from Colorescience as their brush-on stuff (which gets such great reviews) left me disappointed. It is quite runny and appears extremely pink - a shade practically of the liquid Amoxicillin variety - but application was great, I was pleased at how evenly and non-streaky this applied. I was shocked by how this dried down considering how pink it appears initially; I have Fitzpatrick 3 skin and this looked lovely, but on darker skin tones I cannot imagine this working well at all. It wasn't too drying and did not cause any irritating or flaking, but I went outdoors for a bit less than 2 hours soon after applying this... and developed a sunburn. I used the entire contents of the sample pouch for my face and the bit of my neck which was exposed. Either what I used came from a bad batch, or this sunscreen simply doesn't offer proper protection :(
