Reliable, consistent, and nice finish
I use this sunscreen when I need a water-resistant sunscreen for running outside or if I know I may sweat lightly. It doesn't clog my pores and leaves a nice presentable finish that doesn't highlight the dry areas on my face. I use my normal skincare before applying as with any sunscreen.

Very hydrating sunscreen. Love the formula and ingredients. However, this sunscreen like the majority of mineral-based sunscreens is not white cast free on light olive skin tones. I had high hopes it would be my perfect sunscreen, but unfortunately the color was not good for my slightly warmer skin undertones.

The absolute worst white cast
I have brown skin and I have tried so many sunscreens but this one left the most horrible white cast on my skin. I tried rubbing for more than 5 mins and it still did not disappear. It also pilled when layered over my regular skincare.

Excellent Tinted Sunscreen
I tried this sunscreen after testing samples of all the EltaMD tinted mineral sunscreens (all SO orange on my fair skin, smelled weird, and irritated my eyes) This is a great one! I have mild rosacea and very sensitive skin, and this product is pretty much perfect for me. I have cool, fair rosy tone skin Fitzpatrick Type 1-2, and it was hard to find a tinted sunscreen that worked for my coloring. It takes about 30 minutes to dry down and does have a very glowy/shiny finish. I don't wear much makeup, but the subtle coverage on this gives me a little boost of skin confidence, especially when my rosacea is acting up. I love that the filter is zinc, has antioxidants, and minimal irritant ingredients.

I have tan skin and this sunscreen is quite decent for me. First when you apply it, it appears like there is going to be a whitish residue but then fades in a few seconds. One slight problem I think is this is not that hydrating for people with flaky skin like me, so you have to apply this without rubbing your skin too much . Overall it is a really good sunscreen among many.
