Good coverage

I like this and I like that the coverage is buildable. I even more love that it has some SPF in it, because I'm all about that protection!

great product

This has high coverage and combats any oiliness I have. It is long day wear and makes my face look airbrushed

New favorite powder

I absolutely adore this powder. I was forced to look elsewhere because my usual face powder is constantly sold out, and now I'm glad I was. I was looking for a powder that helped with shine and had SPF and this one is AWESOME. I have really severe allergies (to formaldehyde and thimersol) and I love that this is compliant with clean ingredients. It also works REALLY well with my pale, almost-translucent skin. I agree with other reviews, would love a nicer container considering the cost, and a place for a sponge would be a bonus (especially considering it comes with a sponge...), but I overall highly highly recommend this powder. As an aside, I don't use this purely for sun protection (I also apply actual SPF) nor do I use it for coverage, so I can't attest to how well it performs for those functions. But as a powder, fabulous, love it, will definitely use it from now on.

Still come back to Colorscience

I have been using Colorscience pressed foundation for 5 years and it is the best foundation. Will not clog pores, give a natural finish, and last all day. I used the old formula "Girl from Ipanema" which is now Tan Natural. Use with the colorscience kabuki brush for best results. My Esthetician turned me on to this and it has become my all time favorite. You will be complimented on your complexion as it is GOOD for your skin. I have tried other mineral foundations and still come back to this one.

Tried this for the first time!

Its a really lightweight formula, and great for people with less acne. It gives a natural dewy look.

Not my favorite

I'm not very fond of this foundation. It goes on too heavy when I use the sponge applicator but is okay with a brush. However, it tends to get cakey as the day goes on and is very hard to reblend but I have oily skin and this tends to happen to me with powder foundations. Despite the cakiness, it does last all day, where other powder foundations tend to disappear on my skin after a few hours. The color is good but I have found that I need a shade or 2 darker with Colorscience than with other product lines. I will use it up but will stick to the brush-on powder going forward.

Didn't go with my skin as well as I had hoped

I was excited to try using this as a replacement to my powder foundation from origins that was discontinued. However, I didn't get the result I expected because of the following reasons; the powder felt very heavy on my face and it left strange lines going down my nose after about a half hour of applying it. The biggest problem of the 2 were the lines going down my nose because despite using a thicker primer to counteract the effect, it still left blotches of foundation. Despite these 2 problems I can say that I really liked the color and the amount of coverage it provided. I ended up breaking it accidentally when it fell while in my wristlet. I found another foundation pressed powder that seems to work much better with my skin.

It's good for sun prtection, but don't love for everyday

This is good for when you're out in the sun all day, and need to continuously reapply sun protection while simultaneously getting rid of shine. However, I don't love it as a "make-up". I feel it didn't blend well and kind of sat on top of my pores, making them more noticeable. I will continue to use for sunscreen/shine reduction on days I'm out in the sun a lot, but will not use on a daily basis for make-up.
