Apply to dry hair. Load up small end of brush with powder. Use free hand to pull hair flat/taut against head and press brush down firmly into roots, starting from scalp and working out - do not use sweeping motion. Apply more powder as needed. To extend highlights, use side edge of small brush. Lightly dust off any excess powder with wide end of brush.

Will never buy anything else!

I have tried numerous root cover ups. This one is by far the best. It is not wet and goes on like eye shadow. It comes with a flat brush. It looks so real no one can tell. Even outside. Love this product!

Works really well

This is easy to apply and it looks very natural, especially on my hairline which is where I need it most. My hair is very short and my roots start to show really soon after coloring, so this is a great way to put off coloring for a while longer. It also works well on eyebrows! The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that although the product is supposed to be water resistant, in my experience that has not been the case.

Fantastic for thinning hair

I purchased this product because I thought It might be good for thinning hair. It covered the scalp area so much better than toppik or Dermmatch . It was faster and easier to apply to the root area and covered some of the bright white scalp that showed thru my female pattern baldness. I found using the sponge applicator from Dermmatch was better for covering my scalp since I was not really using it to cover the roots. When I got done it looked like I had a lot more hair than I really do. It lasted till I washed my hair again. Love it.. I do wish it would come in a larger size so it would last a bit longer since I use it every time a wash my hair.

Temporary hair coloring

This product was very complementary to my hair color. I have dark brown hair with red highlights so to cover the gray roots this medium brown actually provided a different hue which complemented my two tones. It also went on very easy and didn't come off when I touched that area.
