Apply to dry hair. Load up small end of brush with powder. Use free hand to pull hair flat/taut against head and press brush down firmly into roots, starting from scalp and working out - do not use sweeping motion. Apply more powder as needed. A blondes best friend
This stuff is the best! Have tried numerous root cover up products in the past, they were either too obvious, sticky, or just plain didn't work. I apply this after washing and styling my hair. Can go 2 days without my hair and still it does its job. It blends perfectly and so easy to apply.

Had my doubts
Originally, I didn't 'really' think this would work, but boy, was I pleasantly surprised. Not only did it blend well and hide my gray roots.. it did not smudged off on my hat. This is my new go-to root cover. Love it! And a perfect match to my hair color. It has depth, not just a flat color like alot of the spray brands. Really looks natural. will totally work until you can make it to the hairdresser.

Works (But Not Really in the Way I Was Hoping)
I have 5% grey hair and I was hoping to use this product on my random grey hairs before jumping into the hair coloring world. This product works somewhat as advertised on my temples and random patches, but the grey/white hairs become more like a matte light brown.

Blonde Shade Did Not Work to Cover Regrowth
I purchased the Blonde shade, my natural color is a dark ash blonde with some grays. This powder did virtually nothing to cover the regrowth. I had to use a lot of product and there was almost no difference.The powder did not coat the hairs evenly and seemed to clump together.

not as great as I hoped
I only have small patches of gray here and there (maybe 15-20% of my hair, but very obvious in my dark hair) and I wanted to try this before giving in to dyeing my hair for the rest of my life. It seems to dull the silver/white hairs a bit so they are less shiny, but by no means does it conceal them. It makes hair slightly dry/gritty, but at least it doesn't seem to rub off on clothes or skin. Maybe there is a more noticeable difference if you are >50% gray, but it didn't cover my grays as much as I had hoped.

Not perfect, but it's the best
I have a great deal of silver hair, but I also live in a rural area where it's tough to get my roots touched up as often as I'd like. I have tried A LOT of different types root touch-ups - sprays, powders, crayons - and this is by far the best. It's easy to apply, blends well and mostly stays put. One tip: to avoid getting it on my scalp, I do what stylists do when they apply highlights - I lay down a piece of foil under the section I'm touching up. A bit of a pain, but it helps!
