Apply to dry hair. Load up small end of brush with powder. Use free hand to pull hair flat/taut against head and press brush down firmly into roots, starting from scalp and working out - do not use sweeping motion. Apply more powder as needed. To extend highlights, use side edge of small brush. Lightly dust off any excess powder with wide end of brush.

This root cover up is great because, unlike some sprays, it does not weigh your hair down. I find that it stays on all day but easily washes out.

Love it!
I have thin fine hair and this powder works great to cover up the gray hairs around my face. It’s easy to apply, doesn’t make a mess and stays in. I’ve tried other spray on products but this is a holy grail for me and I carry it with me in my purse so that if I decide today’s the day I don’t want to see the grays, it can be handled quickly.

I finally found a product that works to cover up the gray hair! I’ve tried cover up sprays that felt gross in my hair and color rinses that take too time. But this product applies nicely and it’s convenient to use when I want the grays covered up. You do have to be careful getting the powder on your skin close to your hairline because the color does seem a little staining but it will come off with a little effort.

Does what it should do
I deal with a weird cowlick that exposes my scalp and either I flat iron it to death, or just let it be and cover up the exposed scalp. This does just that. The applicator is okay, I do like that it’s double sided. I do wish the colors were a bit more cool-toned but it still blends in nicely.

Takes more product than I hoped to cover the gray but it stays through workouts and even sleeping. It does come off in your hands if you run your hands through you hair often.
