Removes Buildup
Removes buildup and residue on the scalp without being too drying. I use it once a week and it works great.

Surprised by how well it worked
I received this as a sample. I do not have dandruff or heavy build up on my scalp. I have overall normal, wavy hair that tends to be slightly dry. I go several days before washing so I do get some product build-up from dry shampoo. The sea salt in this is rather large so it feels a little strange when washing you hair. But the shampoo produces a nice lather and my hair and scalp came out so clean but not dry. I did follow-up with a hair mask as recommended. I will continue to use this intermittently to remove build up. I had never used Christophe Robin products but this makes me want to explore more of their products.

Heavenly shampoo
I have very thin, fine, semi-short hair that's normal, except dry on ends. I used this shampoo 6 times prior to reviewing, because (for ME) there was a little learning curve. Note: when directions say to use a small amount, then do that! I initially used too much, & had a ton of unnecessary lather ($$$). Also, I left it on my scalp for several minutes. That resulted in my hair being kind of stiff upon drying. So learn from me: use the tiniest bit(!) and gently massage it between your hands before applying to wet hair: that way you make sure it all ends up on your head, and not on the shower floor. And if you have thin, fine hair, don't leave it on your scalp for more than a minute. Lastly, if your ends are dry, just massage the shampoo on your scalp and "length", but not the ends. Whatever shampoo ends up washing over your ends is fine. After figuring out how to use this stuff, I adore it. Lastly, the fragrance is actually one of the best things about it :D

Nice hair product
This scalp scrub is a great item. It really made my head feel great and I think it did a great job of 'cleaning' my scalp. My hair felt great after using this.

Reduced itchiness and buildup
I was skeptical of this salt scrub due to the size of the sea salt grains. However, it surpassed my expectations, reaching down the scalp and providing a wonderful lather and great clean to my scalp and hair. While I have very dry hair and do not generally worry about oil buildup, this product also surpassed surprised me by reducing itchiness due to a hair ingredient I was allergic to. A little goes a long way!

What my fine, oily hair needed!
I have tried EVERY shampoo, spray and volumizing treatment out there to try and add life to my abundant, yet fine and oil prone hair. I decided to give this scrub a try and wow, I am so glad I did! I will say that this would likely not be a product for someone with dry, brittle hair as it does leave hair with a slightly coarse and dry texture. However, for me, this is exactly what I need! I used this product primarily on my scalp, to provide a deep cleanse and exfoliation. I ran it through my ends, but quickly rinsed it out and followed it up with a deep conditioner on my ends. I use this product once or twice a week and my hair has never felt better or had more volume!

Clarifying!
I use this once every three to four washes. I have thick wavy hair and have trouble getting the product actually on my scalp, though other reviewers have mentioned this also. The salt in particular falls out easily and quickly when I am applying the product. The packaging (tub) adds to the difficulty too. However, the rest of the formula makes a big difference in clarifying my hair to rid it of dry shampoo and other product build up. It helps with my oily skin too. It lathers pretty well once mixed into your hair and rinses easily too. Overall, it can be a bit of a hassle, but I haven't found another clarifying shampoo that works this well and leaves my scalp and hair in such good condition.

Great once a week shampoo!
This foams up and cleanses really well, and the salt is big enough that some actually does get through my hair to my scalp. Really refreshing for once a week!
