CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser gently removes dirt, excess oil and dead skin cells to reveal a clean, fresh face. The non-irritating formula maintains a healthy moisture balance, never stripping the skin, while eliminating shiny, oily areas. Replenishing hyaluronic acid and ceramides produce a healthy skin barrier so your face feels comfortable without any tightness or dryness.
Wet skin with lukewarm water and massage cleanser into skin in a gentle circular motion. Rinse and gently pat skin dry.

Boyfriend Uses it and Love it
I have tried to get my boyfriend into taking care of his skin more-i.e. moisturizing, using a retinol. He somewhat sticks to the routine, however, he is religious about washing his face each night and loves this stuff. It's great for sensitive skin (and boyfriends)

Gentle Face Cleanser
This face cleanser is gentle and helps to remove light makeup. An additional eye make up remover is needed. Took 1 star off because I prefer products without parabens.

Great for removing makeup
This face wash is one of my favorites. I don't like spending a lot of money on face wash. This gets the job done and is recommended by many dermatologists. It can be slightly drying though, so I use this in the summer and the hydrating one in the winter.

Does what it says, good value
Good face wash that's gentle and gets the job done. Dissolves water resistant makeup w/o need for remover, at least in a nice steamy shower. It's unscented and feels good on my sensitive skin. Doesn't sting your eyes either! One pump goes a long way, so this a great value. I used to use the SA Facial Cleanser from CeraVe and kind of preferred that, but I think they stopped making it. That one felt a little more effective (contained salicylic acid for gentle exfoliation), but this is probably the next best thing.

Good for oily skin
I have fairly oily skin, but sometimes this product seems to strip a little too much away. I have since migrated to using the Hydrating Facial Cleanser by CeraVe instead. Whenever I use this, my face feels rather tight, so I always have to followup with the CeraVe Moisturizer, which I recommend. However, on my very oily days, this product does the trick of getting rid of it all, and I don't mind the extra moisturizer step to replenish back the moisture I want to keep. I think instead of recommending this for Normal to Oily, I'd think it's best for Somewhat Oily to Very Oily Skin.

No scent, no dyes, no microbeads, and no eye sting. I love this cleanser for everyday use. I have combination oily skin and it is my go-to clenser for face and body. Yes, I said body. I keep it in the shower and on super hot days use it as a body wash. It is easy on the skin and leaves me feeling clean without the excessive dryness. Right after cleansing I moisturize to prevent dermal water loss. Overall, this is an excellent cleanser if you have any kind of oily skin.

My holy grail
This cleanser is the best one I've tried so far. It thoroughly cleanses the skin without stripping it and does not clog my acne prone skin or irritate it like a lot of cleansers I've tried. Highly recommend for oily acne prone skin.

Cleanses well, but is drying
I think this cleanser does a great job at removing any gunk off the skin from the day and any traces of makeup, but I found after a couple of days of use that my skin was super dried out. So not to waste it I used it to clean my makeup brushes, and it does a great job at removing the makeup built up. So it really does do a great job at cleansing, but for me personally its just too drying.
