Notice a difference already...
I've only been using this product for a week and I instantly noticed a difference. It's hard to tell what it is, but my skin looks clearer and tighter. I'm happy with it and I'm going to continue to use it.

Liquid gold! My Favorite Vit-C Serum of All Time.
I started using this specific serum right when it came out to the market about 18 years ago (i think it was around 1998). i am a 48 year old mother of four Skin care junkie from israel. i have semi-oily skin which is in an amazing condition for my age (with all modesty lol). i have no wrinkle...no fine lines (at the exeption of some fine lines under my eyes when i smile)...and no age\sun spots. and i have to thank this product (along with a few other staples in my skin care routine) that contributed to the excellent state my skin is at my age. i always get compliments on my skin and this product has alot to do with the glow i feel my skin has. every once and a while i would have the urge to try the "new best thing" but ALWAYS end up coming back. over the years i have tried almost ALL vit-c serums. i tried skinceuticals, skinmedica, obagi (also the Rx line),IS Cinical,PTR,Jan marini,Vivier,Etc... you name it,i tried it! I tried the Obagi vitamin C serum. I liked it but never felt it was all that amazing. i tried the very popular "c-e-furulic" by skinceuticals and HATED it. it was oily,it smelt like bad hot dogs and i just disliked it very much. (BTW: the founder of the skinceuticals line used to be a partner of cellex-c back in the 80's). then i tried skinmedica's version of vit-c thats called "c+e complex" , which the form of vit-c in it is called "Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate" (instead of "L-ascorbic acid" which Is the vit-c source of the other two serums i listed prior to this). anyway this complex made me brake out so much, it was a disaster! i also tried the version of dr' dennis gross vit-c serum which was fine but i felt it didnt make any change. so that was nor a hit or a miss for me. then i moved on to try arden's "Privage" line of serums.... anyway you get the picture lol. then a few years ago i decided to stop my search because i realized that This is THE BEST vit-c serum on the market. this stuff is amazing. it is the only (vit-c) product that makes a HUGE difference on my skin. It makes it smoother, tighter and gives such a beautiful glow!. and what i also love about it is that it is thin as water! no oily residue or nothing. once you apply to the skin you get an amazing glow but no heavy oily feel at all. I don't know what's in it that makes this so different but it is. cellex-c are the really the true pioneers in vitamin-c skin formulations and that they have a track record of almost 30 years in these formulas of vit-c serums. this serum's patented "delivery mechanism" is what makes all the difference in the world (compared to other serums). its important to understand that not all vitamin-c serums are equal (and no...a higer percentage of L-ascorbic is NOT what makes a vit-c serum more powerfull or superior). in order for a vit-c serum to do its magic, it needs to have (first and foremost) a SUPERB "delivery mechanism". that delivery system will take the L-ascorbic acid Deep into the skin. and thats exactly why i think this Cellex-c serum is Superior to all others. you see , in the past the Cellex-C formulations were concidered superior antioxidant serums compared with those of Skinceuticals (for example) simply because they contained more diverse antioxidant combinations, however both companys now feature "broad-spectrum" antioxidants. now, Cellex-C does claim that this serum is their most superior antioxidant serum. IS Clinical for instance claims that their "Super Serum Advance+" is superior to all others because they managed to combine Copper Tri-peptide Growth Factor with L-ascorbic acid and create a serum that both ingredients can coexist together. Obagi says that even one of their 10% Vitamin C serum readily outperforms Skinceuticals 20% vit-c serum. Vivier claims that their "IntraDermal" delivery System is by far the best and superior to all other vit-c serums. And skinceuticals claims that their most photoprotective antioxidants are the "CE Ferulic" and "Phloretin CF" serums. Now to Further complicate matters.... Cellex-C uses tyrosine, zinc and bioflavonoids in their Vitamin C Serums (The use of tyrosine, zinc and L-ascorbic acid in one complex is a protected patent by Cellex-c), whereas no Skinceuticals Serums contain tyrosine and only some contain zinc. Medical literature states that when tyrosine is combined with ascorbic acid it helps to promote regeneration of new connective tissue through the stimulation of fibroblasts enabling them to create more collagen. a 2011 study that was co-authored by then **Skinceuticals** cheif medical director Dr. Sheldon Pinnell (who now passed away), holds that zinc is a very important and neglected antioxidant for skin. Dr. Sheldon Pinnell was a great leading scientist and a world renowned dermatologist who changed the way the world uses topical antioxidants today. he was the founding father of topical antioxidants in the skin-care world. and its funny but he was also the developer and founder of the "cellex-c" brand in the early 80's and was the cheif medical director until the late 90's. Zinc has been shown to help support increased collagen turnover stimulated by ascorbic acid - it is an essential component of collagenase, which is required to dismantle old, defective and stiffened collagen in order for new collagen to be constructed. Cellex-C Advanced C Serum contains 5 types of antioxidants... 1 - L-ascorbic acid, 2 - Zinc, 3 - Resveratrol, 4 - Pycnogenol, 5 - L-ergothioneine plus it also contains tyrosine. and as opposed to Skinceuticals "CE Ferulic" which contains only three antioxidants such as.... 1 - L-ascorbic acid, 2 - Ferulic acid, 3 - Vitamin E, *and without the use of tyrosine or zinc. however its also important to say that Skinceuticals "CE Ferulic" has been shown to provide a remarkable 8X endogenous photoprotection (while no studies into the photoprotection offered by Cellex-C Vitamin C Serums have been published). listin.....dont expect "Miricales". a great vit-c serum is only ONE "super weapon" in the battle against wrinkles. it is only one (but an important one) of a few crucial "superstars" that fight aging skin. but for me....Advanced-C Serum really is the best of them all. use this serum in conjunction with the "cellex c hydra b5 complex". just put on the c serum first and follow with 1-2 drops of the b5 complex. also, have a really good skincare routine, a routine which consists of retin-a OR retinol at night along with a good peptide serum underneath (such as Skinmedica tns essential serum OR jan marini peptide extreme serum), a good Alpha-Hydroxy Acid based cream or lotion in the day time above the vit-c serum (such as "neostrata face cream plus aha 15") and do a TCA peel, about every 6-8 weeks - (i do them at home for such a low cost and you can find them online) please start with a low 12-15% TCA and move on slowly until you can use about 20-25% TCA. after you do a tca peel you do not use ANYTHING on your skin besides a good gentle basic moisturizer (like cerave) for about 10-12 days. and use an antobiotic cream on your face (like "neosprin") for the first 48 hours after the tca peel. And DO NOT (and i mean it!) do not forget to use a good high Spf broad spectrum (uva-uvb) sunscreen. i use "la mer the broad spectrum spf 50 uv protecting fluid" (but you can use whatever sunscreen you love). if you do those things...you are on the highest road (that skincare can provide) in the battle against aging. good luck guys. sarai from israel.

Excellent!
I've used Cellex-C products for many years and have been using the Advance-C serum off and on since it became available. I always come back to Cellex-C - it works the best, lasts the longest and really helps my skin appear younger. It outshines it's competition.

Not as good as Obagi's Professional-C Serum - 20 Percent
Cellex-C feels kind of sticky, and I don't feel it working when I put it on. Obagi's Professional-C Serum, 20 Percent is much better, in my opinion. It isn't sticky at all, and I can feel it working (it tingles). Also, I didn't see any results with the Cellex-C. I saw texture improvements with Obagi's C Serum.

I look years younger
I love Cellex-C. The results are just amazing: my skin is tighter, any premature wrinkling is substantially reduced and my skin looks even. I look easily 5-10 years younger. Will continue using forever.

helps enhance obagi
Cellex Advanced C Serum was recommended to me as a good product to use with the Obagi Nu-Derm system. I like the ease of application. Also, a little goes a long way.
