For experienced makeup artists only it seems...

I have very pore-clogging prone skin if I use products with talc, silicon/silicone, oils, etc., as most primers contain these. Currently I use Laura Mercier Oil-Free primer, but I'm looking for something more oil controlling, although the Mercier did not clog my pores. This Becca primer does have quality ingredients, but it is not for me. I cleansed, applied an oil-free moisturizer like normal, followed the directions on the box and applied this primer. A few minutes later, there were white splotches where I applied the product. I had to wash my face all over again. I read this same thing on other reviews. ALTHOUGH, when I applied this product mid-day on oily spots on top of my makeup, it dissolved the oil. But I am looking for a PRE makeup primer that is fool proof with no worries. I am a product junkie, so it was worth the try, just not for me. Maybe for makeup artists who are skilled with tricky product applications. Thanks!
