Good Product

Loved using this product. Goes on smooth and leaves my skin feeling silky. Only issue was that this product stung when apply to super dried skin. I applied this product after using moisturizer and seems to be working nicely.

Like, don't love

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

I like this product, I wanted to try something less expensive than the Skinceuticals CE Ferulic. I think this works, but it didn't agree with my skin or give me as much glow as the CE.

Disappointing product

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

This product has petrolatum, which I was unaware of when I purchased. My skin actually looks dull after application, though it feels smooth. I will not be reordering this product.

Seems to be working

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

This is the highest vit c serum I've ever used, and so far it seems to be working - I've definitely noticed a glow. It does sting a little (which goes away in a few seconds) but the biggest issue for me is that it pills. By the time I apply sunscreen, there are little white dots all over my face (silicone!!!) I like it and will continue using it, if only at night. Can't use in the daytime unless the silicone or whatever makes it pill is removed.

Agrees with my sensitive, mild rosacea skin.

I've finished 2 bottles and am liking the results I'm seeing. I find the best way to apply is after washing and drying my face in the morning, I lightly spritz some thermal water on my face and then put this product on. It pills if I use anything underneath besides water. Took one star off because the amount dispensed is not consistent when pumped.

a great vit c

A great vitamin C product that is effective, but also doesn't oxidize like others, so it really does stay stable until the last pump, which is great if you are worried about not using up a product before it goes bad.

effective but silicone yuck

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

This is an effective Vitamin c product, I saw improvement in acne scars after 2 weeks. Although its effective its also mildly irritating, stings my face every time I apply. The silicone is the worst for me, the texture just bugs me, this does not play well with others, especially moisturizer, it pills like crazy and I end up with little white fuzz on my face. I love its in a pump form, which keeps the vitamin c stable, but lose the silicone please, then I will come back to this. I still recommend it, if these cons I mentioned are not turn offs.

Good, Not what I was expecting

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

There is a lot to like about this vitamin C - no smell, works quickly to brighten skin, skin texture is crazy soft, never tacky like other creams and dries really fast. The things I didn't expect- the tingling and peeling as my skin got used to this. All other vitamin c products I've used were super gentle. Also the texture is a bit gritty. It seems to disappear within minutes it's just kind of odd. Not sure this is my vitamin c holy grail but I will finish the bottle.

Zero stars

1 stars out of a maximum of 5

In addition to being a product junkie, I am an Esthetician. I cannot recommend this product to anyone. It has a slight graininess that doesn't feel good on the skin, leaves a matte finish and although I like that it has 20% l-ascorbic acid, it stings and I don't have sensitive skin. I almost never leave reviews but this product is so awful, I had to share. If this is a price point you are comfortable with, you would do better with Drunk Elephant C-Firma or Protocol Lab Vitamin C.
