Here's how it works: open cells absorb water and make the sponge double in size. Once wet, you bounce the sponge in your makeup and then apply it to your face. This supplies a smooth, streak-free application of liquid, cream and powder products. Pro tip: use the pointed tip for those hard-to-reach places like your nose and under eyes, and the rounded end to cover a larger surface like your forehead and cheeks.
Wet beautyblender® with water.
Squeeze out the excess liquid, using a towel if available.
Bounce concealer, primer, foundation, powder, cream blush or any other complexion product across the face for flawless results. The sponge should be replaced every 3 months.

My Favorite Sponge
I've tried a number of alternative beauty sponges as well as the original pink Beauty Blender and the black pro sponge is my favorite. The texture feels a little different than the pink sponge and since it's black it doesn't show stains. Also, the color doesn't run when I wash it. I've found that it holds up very well with washing and lasts at least a few months.

Great Product
The beautyblender pro performs well like all of the other beauty blenders. However, unlike the others, it doesn't stain as much nor does the color bleed when you wash it. For those reasons, I prefer this one.

As good as the pink original
I've heard that this black version gives a better foundation finish than the original pink, but I personally don't see a difference. That being said, it does work extremely well just like the original!

fake beauty blender
i ordered this beacause it is advertised as the real product and it is priced the same so i didn't think it would be a fake. wrong. if you've ever used a real beauty blender you'll know what i'm talking about. it's more like memory foam texture instead of light and puffy like the original.

Absolutely Love this Blender
This is perfect for blending foundation and it is lightweight. I can't really tell too much of a difference between this and a regular beauty blender. I would recommend this for BB creams since it is supposedely more dense and will provide better coverage than the regular beauty blender. Also great for setting with translucent powder.

This one is so much better than the pink original. It's so much softer, not rubbery like the other one. And it cleans easier without leaving any stains. Makeup goes on the same though.
