Everything you've come to expect and love from the original beautyblender® is now in the beautyblender pro. Developed to apply the same seamless makeup application, this black sponge tackles bronzers and self-tanners without leaving any stains or residue on your sponge.
Here's how it works: open cells absorb water and make the sponge double in size. Once wet, you bounce the sponge in your makeup and then apply it to your face. This supplies a smooth, streak-free application of liquid, cream and powder products. Pro tip: use the pointed tip for those hard-to-reach places like your nose and under eyes, and the rounded end to cover a larger surface like your forehead and cheeks.
Wet beautyblender® with water.
Squeeze out the excess liquid, using a towel if available.
Bounce concealer, primer, foundation, powder, cream blush or any other complexion product across the face for flawless results. The sponge should be replaced every 3 months.

The Best Sponge
I love this sponge. I also use the original beauty blender equally as much, it's hard to tell the difference once the final makeup look is complete but I enjoy them both. Gives me an airbrush finish and doesn't make me look cakey

Love beautyblender!
I've been using beauty blenders for awhile, so I was excited to learn that they're sold on dermstore! This beauty blender pro is great and comparable to the original (though I will say it felt slightly more porous). Applies makeup nice and evenly and is easy to clean with the solid BB cleanser.

Stylish alternative
I had a black beauty blender before I switched to the pink one. I think it just looks cute in your make up bag or on your vanity. It does tend to look a little dusty when the foundation stains it.

I don't know, I'm just not feeling it. Of course I use it following the instructions, but I still think my Sigma brushes are better than beautyblender. I had used other sponges but never tried the original. So I thought to myself "maybe I need the mother of all, THE beautyblender" and...I was a little disappointed. Like I said, I still think my Sigma brushes do a better job.

Black is the color to grab

Great for blending makeup
I love the black sponge because it looks sleeker and doesn't fade in colour like the pink one. The material is exactly the same so it works just as well. I'm only taking one star off for the price.
