Expensive but works well
Yes, it is a very expensive sponge. Yes, it works well. I've tried dupes (i.e., Shop Miss A), and although they come close and have their uses in one's cosmetic kit, I have found none that compare to the BeautyBlender. It's unique soft yet dense non-latex material lays downs foundation and concealer just the way I want it to, whether while wet or dry. It does stain faster than the dupes, though. Personally, I like the dupes as well. What I do is switch between the two. At the moment, I am using the dupe to apply and reapply my sunscreen throughout the day. Unlike the BeautyBlender, the dupes are affordable enough that I can have multiple ones in use at the same time. (I use one while the others are drying after they've been washed.) I save the BeautyBlender for those times I want close to perfection.

Worth the price
I've tried off-brand versions but nothing compares to the original. It lays my liquid foundations on phenomenally. The only thing is that eventually the pink ones stain, so next time I will purchase a black version.

Weel-known for a reason!
I think this is the best beauty sponge on the market. The only problem is that it is a little expensive for what it is. I think there are other brands on the market that work almost as well for a much lower price. I buy these whenever I find a good deal (because I do think they are the best), but typically I save money and go with a different brand that is more economical.

Won't go back
I always just used my fingers for foundation application and then I tried this, and I will admit, it is much better. I haven't tried many other sponges but this one works great if you wet it before hand. It has a nice shape that makes application pretty easy.

Been using for years
The beautyblender is pricey but it lasts (if you wash it). And it makes for such an easy application - I use it for tinted moisturizer.

Everyone Should Try It
I've owned 3 Beautyblenders throughout the years. They make a huge difference in your makeup application. I recommend applying with a brush and finishing off with the BB. You'll get a flawless application.

works but you have to know how to use it
I prefer to use makeup brushes but I bought into the hype and tried it out. It didn't enhance my makeup application experience just because I like to think that I'm painting or being super graceful when applying makeup and beating a sponge on your face is not so gentle haha. it's still a great tool for those who know how to use it well but not for me.

Worth the purchase
I used to use a silicon beauty blender, but this sponge does a MUCH better job distributing makeup evenly. The sponge component helps the product better absorb into my skin. I noticed a major difference in my makeup after switching to this sponge. 10/10

An Unneccessary Luxury
It's good, but nothing out of the ordinary. There are so many beauty sponges on the market now that are just as good or better, and some of them are at drugstore prices. If you like a very soft sponge, this is for you. If you like something firmer though you're better off with a different one.
