amazing sponge - not a duplicate
Ive tried them all. Ive tried the Real Techniques and many other beauty sponges, but something is different about this one. This is made of some material that does not soak up the product like many others do. The key is to wet it and then hold in a towel to dry off so its nice and damp. Then I dot the foundation all over my face and pounce away. Also works great for concealer as well!!

I do love it... but
Okay so this thing is the best at applying foundation and getting rid of streaks and cakeyness. It works better than a foundation brush, your fingers, a flat sponge, etc. However, it can become sort of a hassle to constantly wash it and wet it every morning. Something about a wet sponge that I wipe all over my face just screams BACTERIA to me. Maybe I am being paranoid, but I have to wash this thing thoroughly before I can use it in the morning.
