The ORA Electric Microneedle Derma Pen System takes the guesswork out of microneedling by producing controlled, precise needle strokes faster than a traditional roller. What makes this pen stand apart from the rest is the adjustable needle head (varying in length from 0.25 mm to 2 mm), and the built-in vibration mechanism that provides deeper needle penetration.
The fine needles penetrate skin just enough to create small punctures that send your skin healing signals. This prompts the production of collagen and elastin to produce smoother, firmer, healthier and younger-looking skin. Use the pen on you face or body to reduce the appearance of acne scars, fine lines, wrinkles and stretch marks. You can even use it on your scalp to stimulate hair growth. The Electric Microneedle Pen from ORA provides a 100% pain-free experience with professional results, all from the comfort of your home.
ORA Electric Microneedle Derma Pen System includes:
- Electric Microneedle Derma Pen: features 5 adjustable speed settings
- 2 Replaceable Needle Tips: each with 12 needles
- AC Adapter and Wall Charger
Tip: ORA recommends using a serum or cream after the needling treatment, as this will enhance the absorption of the skincare product. Some users use the cream or serum prior to the roller treatment. However, the use of creams or serums is not necessary with the rollers—meaning you can use the rollers on their own. The roller dramatically enhances the absorption of your skin care products when you follow up the treatment with your favorite serum or cream.
Preparation:
1. Take the needle cartridge out of the sterilized packaging.
2. Fit the needle cartridge into the pen and lock the cartridge by turning it counterclockwise.
3. Adjustment of needle length should be done after turning on the machine.
4. If you want to remove the needle cartridge, turn it clockwise and push out horizontally, fitting round slots (slot 1 and 2) together.
Adjusting Speed and Needle Depth:
1. Press the power button for 2 seconds to turn the pen on. Pen features 5 speed levels. The speed increases when you press the button. You can confirm the speed by the flickering speed of the yellow LED lamp. To turn off machine, press button for 2 seconds.
2. You can adjust the length of the needle by turning the adjustment ring clockwise or counter clockwise. Turning it clockwise will make the needle longer. Turning the adjustment ring clockwise with shorten the needle length.
Instructions for Use:
1. Cleanse skin thoroughly before use.
2. Select proper needle length for area being treated.
3. Hold skin taut with free hand, then move the pen from right to left over you skin. Use constant pressure, but do not press too hard. Do not lift pen, keep the needles in constant contact.
4. Repeat step 3, now moving the pen up and down over the same area of skin.
5. Repeat step 3, now moving the pen diagonally over the same area of skin.

SO FAR VERY EFFECTIVE
This product does what it says. I just used it once but it is really good. In booklet it says that needles can be reused just need to be sanitized but after one use i just notice that they can not be reused. I just bought extra needles so I can use it once a month.

Really works!!
This really works! It hurts a little won't lie but not as bad as I thought. But the pain is worth it. Scars are lighter, wrinkles not as deep. Must buy

Use Numbing Cream!!
If you plan to use this device at a needle length of .50 and beyond, you can greatly reduce the pain by using a good numbing cream 30-40 minutes before hand. Apply the numbing cream, wait 30-40 minutes or as recommended, wash off, then needle. Makes it much more tolerable.

This is a new device.
I am happy to see this product here. It is amazing, unique device. This tool helps with wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, skin flaws and imperfections. Helps with product absorption. Relieves severe dry skin.

Better than the manual rollers
I have several of the manual rollers and I like this more. I am still not entirely sure about the amount of pressure I have to apply for the best results. Also, this hurts, more so than the manual ones. That said, with the use of numb creams the pain is tolerable and the results much better. I am using this for stretch marks. After a couple of months of once weekly use the skin is no longer raised. The marks are less obvious and my skin is a lot smoother. I am going to continue on using this as I read results can take months as skin is constantly repairing itself

So far, So Good!
First off, I am not an RN, nor do I work in a derm office, etc. I read many reviews, did my research and watched zillions of You tubers try this at home so I thought why not! My friends who are Nurses would most likely tell me not to try this, but I did anyway. I will admit, I was scared at first. I had used the wheel style micro needle system a few times, and it was pretty easy, as long as you follow instructions and make sure you clean it properly, etc. I did not see the results I was looking for with my mild acne scarring, and aging skin, as I am a few years from 50. That lead me to this unit. I tried it for the first time last week, on the lowest setting/lowest speed without using any numbing cream and it was totally tolerable for me. I will most likely stick to the lower speed/depth for a while. It was very easy to use, just take your time and follow the instructions. My unit came in a nice box, with detailed instructions on how to use it, where to order more cartridges, etc. I did not bleed much, maybe in some sensitive areas, and afterwards I did experience the sun burn looking skin, but by morning that went away and I was able to go to work and wear makeup. I had a tight feeling for a couple of days and then my skin starting lightly flaking for a few days. Over all, it wasn't a bad experience at all. Excited to see if I get the results I am looking for. I plan to use it again in 4-6 weeks as the instructions say to do. Hopefully my review helps others interested in trying this at home.

Recommend dermapen over dermaroller.
I have used this once with 0.5 mm at slowest setting, must be very careful to glide gently over skin. Dont apply pressure as needles can cause scratches. Skin was sensitive for 1-2 days afterwards, and a bit of stinging when applying serums. I plan on using it once a month. I have the dermroller as well and prefer this dermapen. I like that the needles can be switched out with the dermapen over having to replace the entire roller. The dermapen will require more practice and patience when using than the dermaroller.

Reliability and build quality are disappointing.
The reliability and build quality are disappointing. Love micro-needling but I can't say this device in particular meets my expectations of reliability and build quality. One of the needle heads broke within seconds. The built-in vibration mechanism seemed to pull and drag on the skin rather than gliding. I read the manual and watched videos to make sure I was doing it right. The small patch of skin I tested on did not respond well and instead of the normal pattern that appears on the skin after an office micro-needling was nowhere to be found. Instead looked uneven and damaged. Was too harsh and looked like it scratched and dragged in many areas.

Works well
This was my first experience with microneedling. It's easy to use, but it DOES hurt. Face looks horrible for a few days and then skin peels to nice fresh skin. Was hoping it would help with my melasma, but not really. Definitely beats spending all the money to have it done professionally.
