Easy to Use

I bought this product to save $$$ on micro needling, while I believe micro needling is more effective (I've had it done more than 3 times) this product is good for maintenance . I would suggest getting CE Ferulic serum from skinceuticals to use after treatment to get excellent results. I would recommend this product

Huge fan of home devices, but this one truly hurts

Another reviewer wrote this device is "not for beginners," and that is spot on. I consider myself a huge fan of home skin care tools and devices, but found this one to be truly painful. I'm sure with time, it could be something you could learn to endure-but in order for it to be effective-I'm not sure that personally have the grit to use it correctly. I've had the Skin Pen in a dermatolgy office twice and yes, that hurts too, but someone else is in charge of ensuring correct pressure is applied. I also was shocked to find out that you do not change the needles after every use-as this would really puncture the skin? Just became concerned about my own ability to use it correctly. So I am returning the product and reviewing it based on how I feel a novice would do with the tool. Too bad, because I have seen great results in the derm office and would have loved a less expensive way to to it at home...

Love it! Love it!

I am in love with this machine. I was recommended to have Micro-needling done by my plastic surgeon. So I decided to save money and buy this machine instead. I acne scars and it is lightening them. I also have lines near my mouth that are less noticeable. I use it on my mother also and see a big difference in her skin texture and her wrinkles. Her wrinkles are definitely less noticeable. My mother has been getting compliments on her skin looking much better. I started on the 0.25 and did 1 pass then increased it up to the .50 depth in the same session on my mother and she didn't know the difference pain wise. I am working my way up on her because she is a baby pain wise. Overall I love this machine. I willl be buying her one for mothers day so she can have her own.

Product does well

Product is great for diminishing the appearance of acne scars. Make sure to use a numbing cream with it.

Excuse me?!

First of all, I don't understand how other reviewers are calling this the worst device ever. I have a roller and a stamp, I'd have to say this is what you get if you were to combine them and then make it electric. It comes with two sealed tips which are adjustable. Place on top, push down and clockwise (I believe) until they are in place. You can adjust the needle length by moving the silver piece below it. Plug it in, press and hold the button to turn it on. Now this is the only negative part for me because I haven't read anywhere in the instructions what the different lights mean. There are 5 different lights/levels. Otherwise it's not a bad device. Of course you have to know what your doing. Pull your skin tight and move the device along. Don't just place the device on your face and slide. Duh.

I AGREE- WORST DEVICE EVER

I fell into the same trap-purchased based on positive reviews. And I had the same experience as the other reviewer-It does not "stamp" , just vibrates and scratches the skin. I am not new to microneedling , I had Derma Pen treatments before and they work great, but don't expect to get the same results with this device -it does not do the job! at all!! Tried to return but they would not take it back. Complete waste of money, very disappointed.

Great : Not for NEWBES

This is a device that needs to be used with care. its very effective and i LOVE the results. Im 35 and i have been dermarolling for years. I wanted to step up my personal skincare regimen. I had to buy numbing cream. ( Tattoo numbing cream works great, bought it AMAZON. ) you will thank me later for this tip.... I have seen great results. I had a Facial piercing and sine i took it out , years ago i was left with a circle scar that was inset , So the derm roller and other hand held stampers did not help. but this has made this scar more than 50% better , honestly. Its not cheep and its very powerful ( really ) so if your new i would try a simply roller. But for my fellow hard core skin care ladies / gentleman , and anyone with deep acne scars , it will be your secret weapon and your best friend. You will have this your years and years and all your friens and co-workers will think you spend thousands on Cosmetic Appointments. *** don't forget the numbing cream ***

Worst Device Ever

I bought this device based on the positive review below. Perhaps I received a defective product ? In my experience, the mechanism was flawed in that the needles do not "stamp" as they are supposed to. Instead, the product simply vibrates. I'm so glad I tried it on my legs first, instead of my face, where I still have scratches despite slowly moving it over the skin as indicated in the instructions. I returned immediately and will purchase a different microneedle pen.

Do not recommend

I've used a microneedle derma roller for about 6 months. I have scars from a dog bite above my upper lip that I'm hoping will fade a bit. I was really excited about this product. I followed the instructions exactly. I used the same needle length as the derma roller I've been using and had it on the slowest speed. It left pinprick marks that bled and my face was red for 24 hours. This is a pretty aggressive machine - it's nothing like the derma roller. It's like using a motorized stapler on your face. I don't recommend this at all. It may work ok in the hands of a professional that has been trained but, for home use, it's terrible. Stick to your derma rollers unless you want to tear up your face!!
