Top of the Line
I have had eczema/atopic dermatitis for quite a long time. I don't know how many creams I have tried but this one worked the very best. It's a little thicker than others, but I use it immediately after showering and leave my skin a bit damp. This helps it absorb the cream. It has helped tremendously. Also, my husband at 70 years old just started to have atopic dermatitis as well and this has really helped him. I don't want to use the word "cured", but he hasn't seen any dermatitis a week after starting his use of this cream. I can't recommend it enough.

Holy grail lotion

Doesn't absorb
I have extremely dry skin and thought this would help. Bought the XeraCalm cream, balm, and soap when it was on sale. I tried the cream first and thought it might be old because it smelled like lotion/cream that has gone bad. I then smelled the balm and soap and they all smelled the same, kind of like stale oatmeal, but it is a light smell that goes away. I can live with the smell, but the cream doesn't absorb well at all and leaves a white film so I will be returning. The soap doesn't lather and my husband hates it so my second bar of soap will go back as well. The balm actually absorbs better than the cream so I will be keeping that because it is very moisturizing and doesn't aggravate my sensitive, allergy prone skin.

Great Moisturizer
Contact dermatitis isn't fun to manage as most products contain fragrance and other undesirable ingredients, but I've been using this product with the cleanser and the balm for a few months now with great results. I use the cream as my daily moisturizer, and it creates a nice matte, non-greasy look and the balm as my overnight moisturizer. My skin hasn't been this clear in years! Highly recommended.

Incredible healing cream
I have used this together with the avene cicalfate cream and both help calm my skin. This cream especially helped my face when I over exfoliated and developed perioral dermatitis (tiny bumps around my mouth and super dry sensitive skin). I wish they made a travel size. I put some in a small bottle to travel with but this cream did develop a smell after four days which explains why it is air sealed. Either way I recommend for anyone with sensitive skin or dryness. I often use this instead of aquaphor because it is not as heavy but still very effective. Also help calm a patch of dyshidrotic eczema on my right hand.

Great Product
I advise you purchase Avene products from dermstore and not the Avene US website. There is quite a difference. I tried these products from avene us and they burned, itched and were very irritating. I purchased the same items from dermstore and a very different experience so I want to put that disclaimer in. I also want to note that the Xeracalm from Avene US, smelled like rotten eggs and made me itch and burn like crazy. That is NOT normal, if you get s foul smelling one, it's rotten. Purchased from dermstore , this creme has no scent and works well. I keep mine in the fridge just in case. I was burned badly by a dermatologist so I use this with the melt in cream and it gives some moisture . I can use this product safely and highly recommend .
