Didn't help my skin issues
I will begin by saying I do not suffer from eczema, etc, so this may be an ideal product for those particular skin issues. I do have consistently dry, flaky skin around my nose and I hoped that it would help. It also isn't a particularly thick cream, I felt the need to follow it up with Aquaphor on days when the flakiness was increased. I received this product as a sample with my order, but I would not go on to purchase a full size.

Love Avene products usually but wish I hadn't bought this
Love this brand usually, but this product has a gross sticky feel and offered no relief for my dry itchy skin patches. Wish I hadn't wasted my money on this.

Didn't work for me
Of all the moisturizers I've used by Avene (skin recovery cream, XeraCalm balm, cicalfate, and this one) I liked this one least. I don't think it's a particularly bad moisturizer, however, the other three felt more appropriate for my sensitive, redness prone skin. For me, this one just didn't feel as soothing or moisturizing as the previous moisturizers I've used and love.

Finally got rid of the red
My skin was always sensitive. Recently I broke out with red pimples at an age way past puberty. Dermatologist tested and I am allergic to an ingredient commonly used as a preservative in cosmetics. I found XeraCalm in my search for a moisturizer that wouldn't aggravate my skin. Redness is lessening every day and my face feels so much more comfortable. There is absolutely no scent.

mediocre cream
I did not really find anything special about this cream. I love the packaging because you don't have to dip your fingers into a jar so very sanitary. You get a lot of product for how much you pay. However, the cream was just an average cream. I did not like the smell.

Still Itching :/
I have had eczema my entire life. I use a prescribed ointment for random flare ups but extreme weather conditions whether hot and cold will cause itching for months and I needed something without steroids for daily use. I tried this on a whim & I havent experienced any slowing down of the itching. Its an amazing moisturizer due to it being non greasy but definitely not anti itch. Back to square one...
