My dermatologist recommended this. I was skeptical, thought it was a gimmick. I reluctantly purchased it, and I'm glad i did. Very moisturizing
I bought this lotion after a friend recommended it. I use it around my eyes are night time for added moisture. At first, it seemed too heavy, but now I love it. Great for the fall/winter months when my skin gets dry. Good find.

Great formula but smells bad
I love the Avene brand and regularly use a couple of the products. I actually really like this product and find it does everything it promises to do, but unfortunately, my nose hates this. I pretty much use only products with no added fragrances, natural or synthetic, so I'm used to "natural" smells, but this just smells like rancid soybean oil to me. Granted, I do have extreme sensitivity to smells in general so maybe if you don't have an extremely sensitive nose you should be fine.

Great for Dry, Sensitive Skin
XeraCalm A.D. Balm is my new favorite facial cream. I have very sensitive, reactive rosacea on my face and this balm causes zero reaction and is truly soothing. My skin looks smoother and less red. It goes on thick, but absorbs well and is not greasy and is non-scented. The pump is great as it allows you to control the amount of product you pump out so none is wasted. A tiny bit is all you need to cover your face, so I've been using it on my body too. It is comparable to Epionce Medical Barrier Cream, another favorite of mine.

Great for eczema
I've been dealing with eczema on my face for years and have tried everything. This stuff is the real deal and the only lotion that really keeps itching and redness at bay. I occasionally still have to use prescription steroid creams but am needing them a lot less since starting to use this balm twice daily. It goes on a little greasy but absorbs quickly. Definitely recommend!
