Avène XeraCalm A.D Lipid-Replenishing Cleansing Oil calms, soothes and alleviates itching associated with atopic dermatitis and eczema. The moisturizing oil deeply cleans without drying out the skin or causing further aggravation during flare-up
In the shower, lather in hands before applying to the skin. In the bath, pour the equivalent of 5 pumps into bathwater while filling the tub. Rinse and gently pat dry. Follow with XeraCalm A.D Lipid-Replenishing Cream for very dry skin or XeraCalm A.D Lipid-Replenishing Balm for severely dry skin.

Replaced my face wash
I have used the same gentle face cleanser for at least 10 years. Due to hormonal changes I started peeling on the sides of my nose, no matter what facial cream I tried. Not until I started using an oil based cleanser like this one did that chronic peeling stop, I know this is the reason for the marked improvement because I recently traveled without this product and after a few days without it, the peeling returned. Highly recommend to those whose skin care requirements have changed. Note the oil texture of this product is heavy and not light. So for facial massage you may need a different oil product.
