Avène XeraCalm A.D Lipid-Replenishing Cleansing Oil calms, soothes and alleviates itching associated with atopic dermatitis and eczema. The moisturizing oil deeply cleans without drying out the skin or causing further aggravation during flare-up
In the shower, lather in hands before applying to the skin. In the bath, pour the equivalent of 5 pumps into bathwater while filling the tub. Rinse and gently pat dry. Follow with XeraCalm A.D Lipid-Replenishing Cream for very dry skin or XeraCalm A.D Lipid-Replenishing Balm for severely dry skin.

Best cleanser for eczema
This cleanser is the best thing for for calming my eczema! I use it on my face and body. I even shave with it! I use it for both phases of a double cleanse when I use mineral sunscreen or makeup. It is the only cleanser I use 99% of the time and my skin has never been calmer! It has an oil consistency but foams a little. It is unscented. Thank you Avene!

Just ok, not as expected
I've recently become a big fan of the double cleanse movement and like to start with an oil based cleanser. Because of the size of this, the great reviews, and it being marketed as an oil, I bought this as my first step in my night cleansing routine. I dont hate it, but I don't necessarily like this either. It's just "eh" to me. I don't find the consistency oily at all-like I wanted and was expecting. I also find that I have to use a lot to feel like it's doing something to break up my makeup, what little I actually wear. I tried it as a body wash as well and was unimpressed with it. It doesn't froth up enough in my bath puff, and I found I needed to add more halfway through my shower. It is gentle, I'll give it that. I'll use it up on my face, but won't be repurchasing once I run out.

Works well- it's more of a gel than an oil and I wouldn't say it adds moisture, just doesn't strip any of the skin natural oils without any irritation. I use it for body, sometimes the face and as shampoo as well.

Wish I'd known about oil cleansers a long time ago!
I have dry skin, so when I was introduced to cleansing oils I fell in love! They feel so good, and clean my skin without any issues! I love that you can use this on your face and body. I just let it soak in for a few minutes before I rinse. Skin feels so soft and clean!
