Avène XeraCalm A.D Lipid-Replenishing Cleansing Oil calms, soothes and alleviates itching associated with atopic dermatitis and eczema. The moisturizing oil deeply cleans without drying out the skin or causing further aggravation during flare-up
In the shower, lather in hands before applying to the skin. In the bath, pour the equivalent of 5 pumps into bathwater while filling the tub. Rinse and gently pat dry. Follow with XeraCalm A.D Lipid-Replenishing Cream for very dry skin or XeraCalm A.D Lipid-Replenishing Balm for severely dry skin.

Perfect Oil Cleanser
This oil cleanser is amazing. I use it to remove makeup and sunscreen before doing my second cleanse and I love how it leaves my skin feeling. It's very gentle and leaves my skin feeling so good - I truly believe this oil cleanser is part of the reason my oily adult acne-prone skin is no longer oily or covered in acne and little bumps. Highly, highly recommend this to anyone who wears sunscreen (which should be everyone) or makeup. It's formulated for even the most sensitive of skin.

I don't think this is great for the face...
I was really disappointed in this product. In search of a gentle, non-clogging facial cleansing oil as a first step in a double cleanse...I had high hopes for this one. It really isn't an oil in the way you'd expect. It's a foaming gel. Although it is soap free, fragrance free, etc..It stung my face after using it 2-3 days in a row. My rosacea flared up and my cheeks felt more sensitized (the opposite of what I had expected with the claims and other reviews). In an effort not to waste or return an almost full bottle...I'm using this as a shower gel and seeing if it's better for the body. And even if it is at the price point I can't see myself repurchasing. It seems like others have had success with it to remove makeup and sunscreen, but this was not the case for me. I didn't try it for makeup, but for sunscreen removal, the experience on my face was not good...I don't think this will be everyone's experience, I happen to have hyper sensitive skin! I also love French Pharmacy products...but Avene tends to be a little pricer than, say Bioderma or La Roche Posay but really haven't delivered for me as a sensitive skin line. The bottle is bigger than I expected but it's still a little pricey at the end of the day. I will say the scent wasn't bad and I actually enjoy it! Packing isn't bad either. Alas...still on the hunt for a gentle, affordable cleansing oil that doesn't clog pores! This wasn't it for me.

Great Oil Cleanser
I wanted to use this to remove the sunscreen and eye makeup as my first cleanse. This removes everything gently so I'm not tugging or standing at the sink all day. I wet my face first and then apply this. It emulsifies well so a film isn't left on the skin. The smell is not terrible. I'm very happy with how well this works. It's actually pretty affordable when it comes to oil cleansers and this size will last you a long time.

The BEST.. hands down
I have tried nearly every oil cleanser out there. I mean seriously you name it, I've tried it. From Tatcha to Kiehl's to Origins to Caudalie. NONE of them compare, this is gentle and effective. I use it as a double cleanse but truthfully you don't even need one, it does such a good job at cleansing. It takes off all my makeup and cleanses the skin. I typically follow up with a prescription cleanser afterward. My skin is combination.

I really love this for breaking up the film of my daily SPF. It leaves my skin feeling so soft and hydrated. However, I think it might be breaking me out so I've started cleansing with a Cerave cleanser immediately after this one.
