Avène XeraCalm A.D Lipid-Replenishing Cleansing Oil calms, soothes and alleviates itching associated with atopic dermatitis and eczema. The moisturizing oil deeply cleans without drying out the skin or causing further aggravation during flare-up
In the shower, lather in hands before applying to the skin. In the bath, pour the equivalent of 5 pumps into bathwater while filling the tub. Rinse and gently pat dry. Follow with XeraCalm A.D Lipid-Replenishing Cream for very dry skin or XeraCalm A.D Lipid-Replenishing Balm for severely dry skin.

I absolutely look forward to using this every morning. I love everything about this product! I love that it doesn’t strip my skin & leaves it super soft without leaving behind a film. Stumbled upon this when searching for a mild cleanser post chemical peel. After experiencing post hyperpigmentation due to a skin reaction as a result of damaging my skin barrier I made it my mission to understand how to care for my skin. I will use this as long as it’s made that’s how much I love it! I did see in the Avene website that another cleanser oil had replaced this so that’s kind of disappointing. Hopefully it works the same.

Not that moisturizing and broke me out
It was going food at first, but after time it started leaving a film on my skin, and my skin felt right and dry. I thought this was strange since it has oil but it’s not very moisturizing. The smell is also really gross smelling… I won’t buy it again and threw it out :/ a waste of money.

I love this cleanser because it gets all my makeup off and does not cause acne breakouts. I use it on my face and body and it works really well. Full disclosure, avoid your mouth with this stuff. Even if a little bit gets on your lips, it WILL leave a bad taste in your mouth. I didn't take a star off for this because the company doesn't exactly advertise this as a face wash.
