Have high hopes
I read a lot of positive reviews and saw videos of this product to make me buy it. I have been using it for about 3 weeks (twice a week). Its too soon to see any benefits really but my face definitely looks brighter and smoother the morning after. I have really high hopes that this product will work for me with prolonged use. It absorbs very quickly.

Sensitive Skin Beware
If you have very sensitive skin or rosacea be aware this product may NOT be for you. The Avene Retrinal 0.1 Intensive Cream was too strong for my sensitive skin. I applied a minimal amount on Tuesday night and woke up Wednesday morning with a red, itchy rash on my cheeks and chin. I am prone to rosacea, but was not having a flareup prior to this. I started taking doxycycline and using only the most soothing Avene cleanser and lotion thinking that would clear it up, but by Friday I had red, itchy hives that had started peeling all over my cheeks and chin. Saturday morning my cheeks and chin are covered in rough, red patches that are burning, cracking, and peeling like I had gotten a chemical peel. The doxycycline and soothing Avene products seem to have no affect, so I guess I just have to wait for the reaction to run its course. I asked to return the product and Dermstore immediately allowed me to return it and gave me a refund since it's within the 60 day return period.

Good product, poor packaging
I love the cream itself - works well and isn't too drying. Unfortunately, I have ordered this twice and been unable to use the product in its entirety as the pump has broken both times before the cream runs out. Too expensive to continue buying for broken bottles.
