Such a gentle retinol!
This is my first ever experience using a retinol and I was pretty nervous. My skin is very sensitive and tends to be dry and flaky. I started out using this twice per week and have recently bumped it to 3x per week after using it a couple weeks. I'm so happy to report that I've had no bad reactions! This is a very thick cream, and I usually use about 2 pumps - I do wish the texture was just slightly thinner only because it would be easier to spread. The main downside is that this is pretty pricey.

Gentle enough for Sensitive Skin
I have extremely sensitive skin, but this Retrinal cream doesn't seem to bother me. I am a big fan of Avene products. They are always very gentle.

I have been using this product for over a year and will not be without it. Being 55 I can always use some help with fine lines and this product has stepped up to the plate. This has definitely helped to reduce the appearance of my lines and my over all skin appearance is so much brighter and smoother.

I have been using this product for over 2 years now. It keeps my skin smooth and diminishes wrinkles and smooths my skin without drying it too much. I use it nightly, you may have to work your way up to nightly, as it was a little drying to begin with. I am 57 years old. Many people are surprised by my age when I tell them how old I am. I will continue to use this product indefinitely.

Not the best for me
You would think this stuff is great because dermatologist recommend it right? Not only does it flake off, but I saw no improvement whatsoever. $ 70 dollars is a lot of money for a lotion to flake off. I'll stick with Eminence Bamboo Firming cream. Not only does it stay on, but it works AND it's cheaper!
