GOOD VERY GOOD
A couple years ago I develop a very sensitive face, rosacea, dematitis you name it. I had to throw away makeup, lotions, creams, EVERYTHING. Start fresh, Avene help me a lot with calming redness, irritation and getting something to clean my face and calm it without making it go crazy itchy or red. My face is quite calm now (thank GOD) but I still use a lot of AVENE products for my face.

Significant Fragrance Irritated Skin
I specifically sought a toner for sensitive skin and based on the reviews I was excited to try this. Immediately my skin stung and a red rash developed in line with the cotton pad. The product is so over-fragranced that hours after application I could still smell it on my face. I am so shocked that Avene made this product that I did a little digging and realized they have another "Gentle Toner" product that is a clear fluid (this is pink) in a different bottle. I went to a local store that sells the clear product, tried it, it felt fine, and bought a bottle. I don't know if the pink product is a replacement for the clear version or not, but they are different products entirely and perform differently on sensitive skin. Do not buy the pink stuff!

Not Gentle at all
Switched to the Avene line because my skin was becoming extremely dry, tight, and itchy. All my life I've had extremely oily skin. Oily, as in having to blot every hour if not more. This is one of the products in the line that I purchased. Having to return it because it did nothing but dry my skin out even more. Gave it one star because I had to rate it something.

Sensitive skin
I have extremely sensitive skin and I was excited reading the reviews and description of this product. Unfortunately, it burned the second I put it on and for several minutes after that. It also made my face extremely red, to the point that I had to put on makeup to cover it up. I was very hopeful for this product, sad that it didn't work out.
