Avène Extremely Gentle Cleanser Lotion removes dirt, oil and impurities without disrupting your skin's delicate moisture balance. This soap-free formula may be used without water and is ideal for post-procedure use to relieve dryness, itching, stinging or burning. It features a concentration of Avène Thermal Spring Water to calm irritation and soothe inflammation.
Apply morning and night with a cotton pad or fingertips with circular motions. Pat dry without rubbing.

Hyper Sensitive Skin
My facial skin is hyper sensitive and extra dry. This is the only cleanser I have found that does not irritate my skin. It is refreshing and so gentle I can use it twice a day. If you suffer from Rosacea or Eczema, this is a cleanser you can safely use. It has no scent and does not contain parabens or preservatives.

Perfect for sensitive skin
Really enjoying this product. I was using Elta MD's foaming cleanser but I like this one more. I remove my make-up with micellar water, rub this product into my face, and then rise it off with water. This product doesn't have a smell which is great. Really noticing a difference in my skin which seems less red and more evenly balanced.

This is a great cleanser for very hyper sensitive skin! I have a very hard time finding products that do not burn or cause a rash due to my sensitive skin. This cleanser by Avene is very gentle and I will definitely purchase again.

Gentle cleanser
I love this cleanser! I previously used another Avene cleanser but it was too drying for me so I decided to give this one a try! This cleanser has simple and short ingredient list. It leaves your skin feeling soft and hydrated after using it. It seems to have gotten rid of some of my flakey skin and some of my occasional acne as well. Also, it says it's a no rinse product but I rinse afterwards anyways.

Good for lazy days or extreme situations
I prefer two-step cleansing routine for the night time (oil and gel) and simple water cleansing in the shower for my oily, acne-prone, but sensitive skin every morning. However, I broke my elbow a week ago and cleansing routine with two products that requires at least simple rubbing and rinsing with both hands (which I don't have now) forced me to search for some cleanser that will be super easy and painless to use. Avene cleanser lotion works pretty well for this purpose by cleansing my very simple make-up (i don't apply eye-shadows, mascara or eye-liner as it is a tricky task with only left hand) but it doesn't leave my skin squeaky clean so I get a pimple here and there. Good enough but not perfect

Extremely Gentle Cleanser Lotion
I have very sensitive dry skin, and recently used a charcoal mask. That was a mistake; I developed an angry rash that nothing would get rid of. I immediately looked for the gentlest cleanser I could find, and this happened to keep coming up in searches, as well as being recommended by an aesthetician. The rash is gone but I will continue to use the cleanser. My skin feels very soft and clean.

Love this...
I have very sensitive, acne prone skin. It usually reacts to every cleanser I've used in the past. I thought I would try this "waterless" cleanser, and I'm hooked! Been using for many months now and no reactions. A little adjustment to get used to...I typically use about 4 cotton pads to cleanse, then wipe off real good with another couole of pads. Then I use toner and good to go!
