Avène Extremely Gentle Cleanser Lotion removes dirt, oil and impurities without disrupting your skin's delicate moisture balance. This soap-free formula may be used without water and is ideal for post-procedure use to relieve dryness, itching, stinging or burning. It features a concentration of Avène Thermal Spring Water to calm irritation and soothe inflammation.
Apply morning and night with a cotton pad or fingertips with circular motions. Pat dry without rubbing.

Wanted to like it but...
I really wanted to like this cleanser amd after watching a lisa eldridge YouTube about skincare I thought this would be perfect but it wasn't. It left a film on my skin even after rinsing my face with water. I couldn't even feel like I could use it as a first cleanser and had to return it.

Great gentle cleanser
I use this lotion with a warm washcloth as a second step in a double-cleanse method. I love how gentle it is! It leaves the skin supple and moisturized, yet clean. My skin is very sensitive, easily inflamed, proned to acne ( fungal acne) , blackheads, and this cleanser doesn't exacerbate any of the issues listed. Great product, would recommend to anyone!

This cleanser is exactly what it says it is-a super delicate cleansing lotion that calms and soothes the skin. The directions say it can be used without water by simply toweling excess product off of the skin but I've never personally used it this way. I use this as a second cleanser (after a double cleanse) when my skin is feeling dehydrated.
