Avene Protective Cream
I have very sensitive skin, prone to breakouts and lately its been feeling a bit more dry in certain areas (despite having oily skin my whole life). With the change in my skin, I’ve increased my routine to using a toner > serum > this Avene cream. It has helped do wonders for my skin. The smell was a bit unpleasant the first few applications but i have grown use to it over time. The cream is also very thick so if you are not use to that, it takes time to adjust to the texture. After application, there will be a film of white on your face but it does eventually absorb into your skin and disappear. I only use this at night because of this but it has helped my complexion tremendously.

Perfect for fragile/dry skin
I received a sample after a laser treatment but didn’t try it until after I started Accutane and I wish I would’ve used it sooner! Usually sensitive skin products don’t moisturize as well as this. It’s super thick but absorbs quickly. It’s the only thing getting me through the Accutane process right now. I’m definitely keeping this stocked up at all times.

Thick but my skin soaks it up ...
This is a very thick cream but my skin just soaks it up and it has helped calm my rosacea down quite a bit! I might recommend it more as a fall / winter cream if using for your face but it really does soak in and does not clog my pores / cause breakouts even though it's high summer here in Georgia (there are a few gel-creams that feature cica in them that I may try next for a lighter option). Immediately when you put it on it does give you a bit of a white-cast to your skin but it absorbs quickly once you rub it in gently.

Excellent Moisturizer
I've been using this with the Avene emulsion and they team up as a powerful moisturizing duo. I love that this is also safe for kids and will use some on my daughter's dry skin. Overall it's definitely heavier and I wouldn't recommend it if you already have very oily skin.

A Perfect Product
This is the best nighttime moisturizer I've ever used. It's unscented, it's thick, it leaves me looking like a ghost for about ten minutes which is fine since I'm just going to bed, and I wake up with hydrated beautiful skin. Anytime my skin starts getting irritated I scale back to a cleanser and this moisturizer and it's solved in a night. Highly, highly recommend for anyone with dry skin.

BEWARE if ordering in Winter
This product separates if exposed to temperatures below 32 degrees Fahrenheit. Mine arrived separated so I assume it was exposed to freezing temperatures at some point during the shipping process. It is still usable, just messy as water squirts out when I try to use it. Besides that issue, it's a great product!
