Absolute skin savior
I have perioral dermatitis and no joke, this product saved my skin. It clears up flares so well and is just so incredibly soothing. I use this as a spot treatment for dry skin. I love it and will never live without it!

Contents were separated
When I first opened the tube I received water started dripping out. When I went to squeeze some of the moisturizer onto my fingertips, water came pouring out. I put the cap back on and shook the tube. It sounded as if the contents had completely separated between the solids and liquids. I took to Google to see if anyone else had had this issue. On recent reviews on Amazon, many people have had the same experience. Not sure if this is a singular batch issue, change in formula, or what, but definitely not cool after spending $30 for 1 ounce of product.

Perfect for dehydrated skin
Great product for when your skin isn't accepting any other moisturizers. It helped heal and soothe my skin when I overdid it with some active ingredients. It's also great to use after using retinol if you're a first time user. I didn't have any redness or flakes when I first started applying a retinol and I believe this product helped with that. It's an interesting consistency, you have to really rub it in for in to absorb and it can almost feel like the cream is separating, but keep rubbing it in cause it's worth it.

The best!
I love this restorative cream! I use tretinoin (retin a) and this helps on the days I have flaky skin as a result of the tretinoin. I also love that it has zinc, which is great for preventing breakouts. The cream is a bit thick, so I use it when needed at night or as a spot treatment for the dry/flaky patches.

Great for eczema
I bought this after seeing my friend use it on her child's eczema patches. I've had eczema my whole life and have had varying degrees of success with topical ointments. Lately, I've had more flare ups on my hands due to washing my hands so often (yay covid), so I got a small tube of this to add to my army of hand creams and this really calms the dry, cracked patches and doesn't irritate the other areas around the flare ups either. I liked it so much that I started using it on my face as well even when there's no flare ups. It's a nice, calming moisturiser that doesn't irritate. I can tell that this will be a staple for me for a long time.

I have been using this for several years until I have found that I have an auto immune disease, RA and Sjrogrens diseases. The Sjrogrens causes extremely dry skin and I also have very red cheeks. Cicalfate is the only cream that I can find that will hydrate my skin and also help with my red cheeks. It seemed to clear my cheeks from a rash after a month use and now that's all I will use along with powder and a little blush. Thanks Avene.
