Protect your skin barrier!
I initially purchased this to use in conjunction with my tretinoin treatment to prevent dryness and irritation. Works incredibly- I never had any irritation at all(I have extremely sensitive skin). On days I use tretinoin I simply apply a little of this (a little goes a long way), wait a few minutes and proceed with my tretinoin application. It has become my nightly skin cream even on days I'm not using tretinoin. Great for healing and protecting the skin barrier.

Works for eczema
My skin is super sensitive and occasional outbreak of eczema . Doctors recommended hydrocortisone but I don't want to rely on that and began searching for a solution - this totally help me clear a lot up! It calms and helped with the appearance by heaps. . I am not sure if it helps clear scarring but it definitely calmed my skin and made the appearance looked a lot less flared.

I tried this product on my awful, eczematous skin. It has helped some. My condition is not completely gone, but I will keep using this product for at least 3 months. I hope for high % resolution :-)

Been very helpful for my 17 month old's ezcema
I've been using the Avene Xeracalm Balm for about 7 months on my son as well as myself, as we both suffer from eczema. Then, a couple of weeks ago, it just stopped working on my son. His eczema got really rough, angry red, and then he would scratch until he bled. I had this on hand, and so tried it on, and after a day or two (with vaseline on top), it got SIGNIFICANTLY better. Then, after about a week, his skin stopped turning red, it feels soft, and he does not scratch much. I'm thoroughly shocked at how quickly the cream worked, and so happy that a larger tube is now available. The cream is definitely expensive, especially with how much we use on the baby 3x a day, but it is worth it as long as my baby's eczema remains at bay!

Very soothing and moisturizing. Perfect for winter time and dry skin. Great for eczema too. Avene is simply the most simple and great brands. Go simple with skin don't make it complicated.
