Avène Antirougeurs Calm Soothing Repair Mask immediately relieves the warmth, redness, inflammation and irritation associated with reactive and post-procedure skin. Avène Thermal Spring Water soothes the skin with natural minerals. Ruscus aculeatus root extract calms irritation while reducing redness. Vitamin E helps to repair weakened skin. Fragrance-free, hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic.
Apply a thick layer on cleansed skin. Leave on for 10 to 15 minutes. Gently remove excess with a cotton pad and mist with Avène Thermal Spring Water. Apply as needed. Suitable for use during flare-ups or post-laser.

this is what it says on the avene website: • New saponin-enriched Ruscus Extract (0.1%) acts as a vasoconstrictor that improves cutaneous microcirculation with anti-inflammatory and anti-angiogenic properties (reduces VEGF) • Sucralfate (1%) repairs, restores, and protects • Rich in Avene Thermal Spring Water to soothe irritation and inflammation • Enriched with moisturizing ingredients which leave skin soft, comfortable, and supple • Safe and beneficial for use during flare-ups or post-procedure care • Non-oily, velvety texture for easy application for the most sensitive, fragile skin it does help diminish the pain and flushing from flareups by soothing, moisturizing, and 'cooling' the skin. (you will feel the cooling effects as soon as it comes into contact with the skin.) Great for immediate relief. After going through several tubes of this I find that the chance of this breaking you out is very very minimal. You can also see that by looking at the ingredients. In summary, a great product. It does what it says it will do. It is safe (even for my uber sensitive skin that reacts to everything. I had no negative reactions after going through several tubes) also non-comedogenic. Only issue is is that it is a tad expensive for the amount of product you get, but that's not a surprise for avene products.
