Avène Akerat Smoothing Exfoliating Cream smoothes and retexturizes extremely dry and rough skin with a synergistic formulation of therapeutic Avène thermal spring water, urea, salicylic acid and lactic acid. This gently moisturizing cream turns unsightly patches of problem skin into uniform, elegant areas. Akerat is perfect for use on knees, palms, heels and other commonly dry spots, including areas suffering from ichtyosis.
Apply Akerat to the affected areas once or twice a day. Do not apply to wounds, irritate or broken skin. Not for use with children under 3 years of age.

Excellent for Psoriasis
One of the few treatments I've found that really helps psoriatic skin to heal. I only use it when I have a bad breakout; otherwise, I use the Avene's XeraCalm Cream. Unlike some other treatments, this one will not burn when any scabbing from the breakout starts to exfoliate. Like almost all Avene moisturizers I've tried, this has a luxurious texture.

Holy Grail for dry winter legs!

this is really good for rough patches like above the knee and on the knee. it smoothes away the roughness and discoloration of the skin. consistent use is necessary. the only drawback is it is sticky when first put on.

My Itch Cream
