A great intro product to Vit C
this product is very smoothing, lightweight, and silkiness. There's no unpleasant stickiness. I also enjoy how there's a twist and cap to prevent oxidation. It's a nice in between switch for other vit c products. Only downside is I can't attest to how it affects the skintone and brightness as I rotate between this and the skinceuticals, but I prefer reaching for this far more often. As the skinceuticals has a dropper and you have to be careful as to how fast it oxidizes, so that impacts my desire on wanting to repurchase it again. Also, it's a great size for traveling and trying it out.

Not for sensitive skin
Although this product says it is meant for sensitive skin, it was not for mine. I was committed to trying it for a whole month and boy did I regret it. I developed severe acne and ulcerations on my face. Stopped using it 10 days ago and my skin is almost back to normal. I had the worst skin of my life with this product.

skin looks brighter, feels smoother
This serum has been great for my dry, slightly-sensitive skin. Unlike the other Avene products I've tried, this one does have a slight fragrance-it's a light, "clean" smell, and it dissipates pretty quickly. If you're sensitive to fragrance though, you might need to pass on this one. That being said, my skin looks much brighter now that I've incorporated this serum into my skincare routine. It absorbs quickly and wears well under makeup without pilling.
