ARCONA Clarity Aftershave Spot Repair Pads: YOU have MY vote!!!!!!!!! Okay. I have had subclinical acne since the day I hit puberty. I had no idea what it was, all I knew is that it was gross and I did EVERYTHING to get rid of it. I must've tried at least 25 different facial cleanser products and none of them helped. I went to trusty ol' Google.com to help me figure out what the heck's wrong with my skin. I drank lots of water. Changed my pillowcase every three days. Slept with my hair back. Exfoliated. Ate healthy. Read up on ingredients in my makeup. Washed my face in the morning, afternoon, and night. I was embarrassed by the bumps and tried to cover it with makeup, but it only made me look like a white chocolate Crunch bar. I did everything and nothing would keep these little bumps under my skin away. You could see them in pictures. Haunting me. Everywhere. I got them mostly on my forehead, but also on my chin and by my nose. They were annoying and I wanted them GOOONNNEEE. I've had these suckers way too long and I needed an explanation as to why they decided to camp out on my skin SINCE PUBERTY. Then, as I was web surfing on a sunny June day, in the year of our Lord, 2016, I was recommended to this product by a blogger. Being a broke (and I mean BROKE) college kid, I was like, "ehhhhhh" when I saw the $28 price. These surely couldn't get the job done like everyone is saying. I've tried a million other products what makes these so special? But being the dangerous wild-child I am, I risked the 28 smackeroonies and bought this. Honestly, I don't know what is in these things besides PURE magic. It's changed my skin and I am SO grateful. It *did* make my skin worse for the first 3-5 days after using but I think that was it "flushing" everything out, if you will. So just don't go attending big life events forever photographed (like weddings) the weekend you're trying it out...like I did. Also, it burned like hell the first couple times I used it. It felt like my face was being dissolved with acid. After having more acne on my forehead after trying these for the first few days, I started to notice my skin clearing up just a little bit. Huh, pretty spiffy. I cut these pads into thirds, wiped my face with a third after washing my face every night, maybe added a little drying cream if needed (Mario Badescu Drying Cream is a great one. Def my first selection for VP candidate), and then went to bed. Each morning I would wake up and find that slowly, but surely, my subclinical acne was getting a little better after each use. It hasn't even been a month yet, but I see a significant amount of difference in my skin already. I'm SO glad I purchased these and will definitely continue to buy for. Ev. Er. A game changer. I finally found the solution!
I bought these for subclinical acne on my forhead that would not go away. You know, that weird layer of bumps that are not quite zits but make the skin not look smooth? I thought it must have been my shampoo or conditioner, even my eyeliner and birth control causing it. I cut myself off from a lot of my usual products and tried other expensive brands like pevonia trying to get my skin back to normal. What a nightmare.
