Too Sticky
After hearing raves about this brand and out of vitamin C serum/cream, I purchased this item on sale. Not for me!!! Unlike other vitamin C, this serum has a molasses consistency and is sticky on the skin. Can’t use it under makeup so I used it at night. My face sticks to my pillow. So my pillow gets the benefits, not me. I’ll use it up but a big NO for future purchase. Obagi has a much better vitamin C in various strengths.

Super Sticky
I have used a number of vitamin C serums and while I live the high concentration of vitamin C, it is the stickiest serum by far. I could handle it in the pm, but would never use it in the am. Makeup doesn’t go on smoothly and feels yucky. Obagi has vitamin C with high concentrations and much better consistency.

I bought this product directly from Allies of Skin and just returned it. The serum is thick, grainy and greasy. After using it for 3 days, I had new breakouts all over my face in areas I do not usually break out. On top of that, the serum smells like strong meat broth and it lingers. Might work for someone else but it didn’t for me.

I never knew how much I needed a vitamin C product in my routine, until I started using this. My skin loves it, but my issue is with the bottle. The pump is not really effective.

Great, but Expensive
I think I've now used 3-4 bottles of this Vit C & love it! However, it's really difficult for me to justify the price increase. I now just wait for it to be included in Dermstore's 20% off sales. You can definitely find just as incredible products at a lesser price point.

Great vitamin c
This is the first vitamin C that I've finished an entire bottle of and I really loved it! My skin truly does look glowier and bouncier and tighter after using this product for the last ~3 months - daily morning use and sometimes nights too. It burned a little in the beginning of use but not anymore. The consistency is thicker than other vit c's I've tried, goes on smoothly, and soaks in really nicely. It barely has any scent which is nice if you're sensitive. Also you can unscrew the cap when you run out and ensure you can use up the dregs so none is wasted. I would buy this again but am toying with trying their 35% .Basically, this product is great, I can definitely see results, and highly recommend.

A solid meh
Although I do believe my skin has benefited moderately from the inclusion of this product, I won't repurchase and actually wish I'd have returned it before the cutoff. The texture is just awful. It's like putting thick paste on your skin. It doesn't sink in quickly and it pills under my moisturizer and sunscreen, which means that my skin is ultimately not receptive to one or more of the ingredients. I won't use fragranced product, and this is not fragranced, but it smells awful. If you're going to buy this because you enjoy sticking your face in glue, do NOT pay full price. Sale price only. I will say that my tone has evened a bit, which I appreciate, but the market is flooded with Vitamin C and your skin deserves the best, which is not this. Also, no one needs this high of concentration. 10 percent is fine.
