My FAV of all time
I absolutely love this deodorant: the smell (smells almost like a mix of a man's perfume and essential oils) + the texture that does not dry out my skin + the purpose of not making me smell when I sweat. I use it in the AM after waking up and it keeps me odor free for the entire day. Yes the texture is sticky, but it's a natural deodorant, what do you expect? At least its residue is not pollutant like most deodorants' are. This is the third time I will be repurchasing - It's THAT good :) Also: my skin is VERY sensitive. At the very beginning the product was burning for a few secs after application, then this went away after using it again and again. It never gave me redness or bumps or anything like that. Love it.

My new favorite deodorant.
This is less goopy and messy than other natural deodorants I've tried and I like the way it smells. Oh, not to mention... it works. I didn't like the twist top at first, but I dig it now. I'd love for it to be a tad of a smidgen more solid in a perfect world.

I just started using this product a few weeks ago so I think that I need to give it more time before a full assessment; however, I can say that the biggest takeaway so far has been "adjustment." As someone who has used unnatural deodorant/antiperspirant for her adult life, the smell, texture and reaction to my body all have been an adjustment. The smell gives off more of a unisex vibe and not as sweet of a scent that I'm used to. The texture is more balmy and moist than cool and dry, and because I am a woman of color, my melanin has caused some darkening in the armpit area as well as a bit of redness on one side. All natural ingredients can take some time to adjust to my body's chemistry, so I'm debating whether I will repurchase or try a different brand of natural deodorant because I don't necessarily want to go back to aluminum!

I'm on my 4th stick. I can't use typical deodorants with aluminum - they made me develop hard bumps on my armpits. Then I switched to another 'natural' brand which used Potassium Alum - and over time I have also developed irritation. So I started looking for a deodorant based on baking soda and found this one. It has a very faint and nice smell of eucalyptus, it comes in a stick so you don't have to get your fingers dirty until the end, it works and and so far - no irritation. If I stray, it will be only because of the price.

This Works BUT...
This deodorant worked very well for me for about two weeks. It kept me dry and odorless, even through tough workouts and walking around in 90 degree weather. However, after two weeks, this deodorant irritated my underarms turning them bright red and discolored.

2 1/2 Stars, really
I have mixed feelings about this deodorant. All of my body and hair products are natural (or as close to natural as possible), so I've tried a lot of natural deodorants. In terms of keeping a fresh scent, this is the best product I've used. It works for the day; I've never had a moment where I've felt like I could smell myself or anyone made any comments about someone smelling. It's also packaged so nicely and smells clean as well. I do have sensitive skin,as well as psoriasis, so while I am careful about what I use, I'm not incredibly fussy when it comes to flare ups or things that come and go. BUT, this caused my underarms to turn black in different places, and it wasn't something I could work through. I used witch hazel to ease the discoloration but I don't know that it will completely go away. tl;rd: it'll probably work for people who don't have sensitive skin
