Not for sensitive skin!
Just a warning... this doesn't make retinol easier on those of us with sensitive skin! Although the natural retinol used is supposed to cause less irritation, its still quite potent. I'm trying to find something more natural to replace the 1% retinol product I'm currently using, and while this may be more natural, I can't say its more gentle. I used it 2 days in a row, and my face is peeling all over! That being said, I don't know if it works yet, and I love the natural ingredients. I'll keep using, I'll just stick to 2-3 nights a week. And for the record, 1% retinol is not a "small amount of retinol" for a lot of people.

wanted to love this
i got this initially because i wanted to try out a retinol product yet stick to something with as many natural components as possible. this product really smoothed out my skin & gave me overall better texture, BUT it also caused me breakouts each time i used it. after reading reviews & seeing i'm not the only one i was reassured that this serum is what was causing me to get painful acne a day or two after use. maybe my skin type is just too sensitive?

Wanted to love - too potent for my skin.
I wanted a clean retinol product and chose this one. It is just way too much for my skin. I have used it 2x a week for the last 6 weeks and my skin has fluctuated between looking great and being covered in big painful pimples. I think that this product might be great for folks with less sensitive skin.

Packaging Issues
This smells great. I'm not sure if its doing anything for my skin but I've only been using it for about a week. I do feel that my skin is brighter, post inflammatory hyper pigmentation marks are fading faster, and it's less dry. My only complaint is that the pump leaks. I use a little less than one full pump for my face and neck. Sometimes after I have used it some of the serum leeks from the pump and drips down the bottle. It's terrible because its incredibly wasteful of the serum and the money I spent on it. I'm not sure I would rebuy it. I'll definitely continue to use the bottle and see what type of results I get. So far results have been pretty good considering I have only been using it for a week, but unless I get amazing results I will not repurchase it due to the bottle leaking.
