This shampoo does a good job with cleaning the hair and scalp and rinses clean. It does not dry out my hair even though I do not follow up with a conditioner. It also helps soothe the scalp itch

Perfect balance, great for travel
This shampoo is one of my favorites, I really hope you guys continue to carry it- its hard to find!! I have very long, thick, slightly wavy hair, with roots that get oily as the day goes on. Very hard to find a shampoo that gets rid of the icky oil up there without stripping the good oil from the rest of my hair. Smell is healthy- herbal, not medicinal, quite pleasant. I travel via driving a lot and have to look good for shows once I get there, and this is a great shampoo for that- I never thought much about how much water varies across the country until I started seeing strange results as I traveled/showered with shampoo I had used for years. This shampoo has performed well across the board. I do always keep a small amount of stripping shampoo on hand in case I'm stuck somewhere with gross water (happens even at fancy hotels) or I've been tearing down the booth after working and sweating for 12 hours, but i havent needed it much since i found this. I used to cut tangles out at the back of my neck every few weeks in the summers (people buy more when my hair is loose and pretty), I don't need to when I use this. It does well with with hard water, heavily treated water etc, and for that matter this stuff has made my hair feel good in different climates. So summary- gentle, pleasant, balancing, all that nice stuff- but also performs in tough situations, changing climates, rough treatment. Give it a try, and you'll find yourself always wanting to keep it on hand!

Did nothing for dandruff
I purchased this because my scalp gets flaky in the winter, and this was listed as paraben and sulfate free. Not only do you need to use a huge handful to actually get your whole scalp, but it did nothing to help my flakiness. That one cheap drugstore shampoo that comes in a blue bottle works better sadly. Will not repurchase.

Scalp feels so clean
This helped clear up a stubborn case of stress induced dandruff and has a pleasant light smell. Biggest complaint is that the shampoo is very watery so much more comes out then intended and would probably work better in a pump bottle. Hair does feel a bit astringent afterwards but great as a clarifying shampoo for every other wash. I use the conditioner as well but the shampoo stands out between the two and will likely only repurchase the shampoo.

Love how this is the only shampoo that cleans my hair gently, does not strip it of moisture, feels calming to my scalp and never leaves a residue. It does not have a fragrance but smells clean (like mint and neem). Product should not be sold in this type of dispenser, the shampoo is runny so you have to be very careful.
