Effaclar Deep Cleansing Cream
Cleanses without stripping skin barrier. My skin does not feel dried out after washing with this which is nice. Has been a good summer cleanser as my sensitive/combination skin has been more oily and acne prone with the heat. 4 stars because it is a little too fragrant for me.

My Favorite Product

Not my favorite LRP product
As someone with combination and sensitive skin, I would really only recommend this to someone with oily skin that isn't sensitive and if they aren't using too many other stripping actives, as that could really impair the skin barrier. This product lathers really well (a little goes a long way) and is very creamy, but it did irritate my skin. It does contain fragrance ('Parfum'), so I'm assuming that was what irritated my skin. I would personally recommend the Toleriane line to others. If you do have mild/moderate acne, I would recommend checking out La Roche Posay's 0.1% adapalene gel for nighttime use- this is a more effective acne treatment.

Not great for sensitive skin
As someone who has struggled with acne for over 10 years, I have tried nearly every product on the market. This cleanser is nice in that it is creamy and not overly drying; however, it did nothing to help clear my acne. Also, if you have sensitive skin it may be too harsh and cause your skin to become too dry as it did when I used it. After about a month of using this every night, I had to stop because the dryness was not worth the results. If you have normal to oily acne prone skin this will probably be great for you but for me, it was just okay.
