Difficult to paint a saturated BLACK line
This eyeliner is ok... it's difficult to draw a black line that's actually black. The formula seems to be too thin so it goes on thin and too unsaturated. The color across my eye is uneven, black in some places and gray in others, like watercolor might be across the page. I'm not looking for watercolor, but rather ink. I'm still looking for a "natural" dupe to the Lancome artliner. I may have to go back to that product as no natural product seems to measure up.

Beautiful color, but not long-lasting
As a brunette, I really wanted this to be my new "every day" eyeliner, especially after reading Emma Watson's Into the Gloss article, where she advocates for this eyeliner above all others. The brush is amazingly thin, and the brown color is beautiful, but the actual eyeliner doesn't lie in an even layer across the brush head- I found that it went on my eyelid in a very faint line, and I had to go over it multiple times in order to get a decent depth of color. The eyeliner also goes on very wet, and is heavy on your lid as it dries. Most importantly though, this eyeliner didn't last an entire workday on my eyes: It flaked and cracked very quickly, and by the end of the day it looked as though most of my wing had rubbed off. I unfortunately had to return it for this reason.

A brunettes dream :)
I used to wear eyeliner ALL THE TIME- then stopped because eye products started to really irritate my eyes. I found that it just was not worth it so i stopped. I tried to find an eyeliner but after many failed attempts i found this! I have been able to go back to wearing my loved winged eyeliner! SO many compliments too! I think some people so better with felted tips than brushes and so it might take some time to get the hang of but it is very pigmented! I never have to touch up.

Jane Iredale liquid eyeliner
This eyeliner does exactly as described. Application is a very easy process and the very thin brush helps to create the exact look you're going for. Sometimes it can be a bit thin and not cover solidly, but I give it 30 seconds to dry before reapplying and that does the trick. On particularly busy days that may include going to the gym, I have noticed a but of flaking, but it's after almost 12 hours of wear. Especially considering the lack of chemicals, it's super worth it.
