An all-in-one, daily hair styling product
Before I tried this out, I was using 2 or 3 different products for styling my straight, semi-coarse, prematurely grey Asian hair (in hard water area). I'm more of a minimalist when it comes to hair stuff, so this wasn't ideal for me. Enter SuperFinish Polishing Balm. Now I just rub a dollop into damp, towel-dried hair, rub the remains lightly over the top to tame flyaways and then leave it to air-dry and get the same, if not, better results than before. As for the scent, it leans a bit towards a fresh, citrus-y men's cologne IMO and I'd prefer something fragrance-free, but ultimately it doesn't bother me that much.

Not the same product
This product, in the pump bottle, isn't even remotely similar to the original product in the old packaging, the one that was in the BeautyFIX box a couple of years ago. Not only are you getting 1.5 oz. less product, which I could grudgingly live with, and an annoyingly stingy new delivery method, but the actual product is different. Completely different ingredients. They've taken away the product that made it a success to begin with, and substituted it with junk. It's reprehensible and I won't do business with this brand again.

Why the change?!
Love the product but HATE the new bottle. Pump barely dispenses anything. Also, price is the same but new bottle has LESS product than original. Very disappointed with this change.

Decent product but won't re-purchase
I have wavy long hair and look for products that are ingredient conscious and help with frizz control and curl definition. I appreciate that this product is ingredient conscious. This product makes my hair soft and does help with frizz control, but for me just using pure Jojoba oil does a better job at frizz control than this product does. This product didn't help much with curl definition. I'm not planning to purchase it again just because pure Jojoba oil works better for me and is less expensive.

Good Product
I received a full-size bottle of this in my Beauty Fix subscription and liked it enough to order it again. Smooths, controls the occasional frizzies, and doesn't weigh down my straight fine hair. A bit pricey but a bottle lasts me a few months.

Ingredients Changed
I just received this balm and it appears that the company has changed the ingredients. The word silicone free is no longer printed on the label. However, this information has not been updated on the Dermstore website. Am very disappointed with the new ingredients.

Dermstore watch your products ingredients Listing
This message is for Dermstore. I have been searching and spending a great amount of time looking for: silicone free, parabens free, sulfates free and alcohol free products. Since I am already using some of the Evolvh hair line, this product caught my attention because it says to be silicone free on the front part of the bottle. However when I looked at the ingredients listed I was shocked to find out there are two types of silicones in this product ( cyclomethicone and cyclopentasiloxane). So I was already doubting of how Evolvh can be doing this false advertising...:( then I looked at the bottle for the ingredients and the ingredients on the bottle are complete different than the ingredients listed on the website.!!! Dermstore PLEASE FIX and BE CAREFUL on the INGREDIENTS YOU ARE LISTING for each product. This can't be happening! You are messing up with us! Then we won't know who to trust! :(

I received this in a beauty fix box several months back, and I love it so much more than I thought I would. I've also used this every other day for many months and I've only just passed the halfway mark. I definitely notice a difference in my hairs softness on the very rare day that I do not use this. I will definitely purchase this when I run out months down the line.

Love this hair balm
First of all I hadn't ever thought to use a hair balm. I have very fine hair and it seemed like something that would weigh down my hair. I couldn't have been more wrong! I received this item in my BeautyFix box and I really love it. It makes my hair soft and shiny and does not weigh it down. Love!
