Nice but not my fav from EltaMD
3IMO UV Elements is okay, but not my favorite EltaMD SPF. I only purchase tinted mineral sunscreens. The tint on this one is a little too dark for my light skin tone. The consistency is thick like a BB cream. It spreads well and blends into skin well, but the thick feeling on my skin does not go away. Reapplication goes on well too, with no pilling, but again it just adds onto the thick feeling. I prefer the tinted UV Clear SPF, which also has a slightly higher SPF rating.

My new favorite sunscreen
5My dermatologist uses this sunscreen so of course I had to try it and I love it. It has a nice texture, and the tint covers any dark spots. Plus it's full spectrum, so what's not to like?

5It’s my go to every day sunscreen ! Love how blends into my skin and super moisturizing for my dry skin! Only complaint is that this amazing formula sunscreen is too dark and orange for my fair to light and neutral undertone skin. But I still use it everyday because I love it so much! After trying so many sunscreen, I AWAYS come back to this one! Dear Elta MD, if you are reading and listening, please make a lighter and more neutral toned version but don’t change the formula! Thank you so very much! Keep up with the good work!

great for sensitive skin - no clumping under foundation
4my derm recommended this after I had an allergic reaction to another brand called dermmade b/c of iron. I love this line altogether but some of the sunblocks by EltaMD creates this clumping weird situation if you wear foundation over it which makes you look like a lizard shedding her skin. this one doesnt do that. the only bad thing about it is that it comes in ONE shade so it either fits you or it doesnt. personally it's too dark for me, so I blend it w/ my foundation that has SPF20 in it for work. for everyday casual, the darker tone doesn't look as odd on me so I just wear it over my moisturizer and go. I love it. just remember that it does come off on your clothes due to the shade. I have crazy rosacea and acne (recently triggered, thanks menopause!) not to mention sensitive to everything skin. I love this thing. I hope they make it in different shades one day.

Light coverage, smooth texture mineral spf
4Used the bottle pretty quickly - I like a lot of coverage. Good for days when I don’t need much. It gives a nice glow and is smooth and easy to apply. Some people with oily skin might find it a bit oily.
