New Holy Grail SPF
5This is my new favorite SPF! I've tried numerous others, including Tom Ford, and this is by far my favorite. The tint is very sheer, but what I love is how it doesn't leave you feeling greasy at all. This makes it perfect for under makeup, or without!

wanted to love it
5I received a few samples of this sunscreen. I like it, but I don't love it. First and foremost, the tint is way to dark for my fair-light skin. Second, it's a bit too dewey for my liking (combo skin). Lastly, it is not really heavy feeling, but it's not as lightweight as my usual sunscreen (another brand). The tint is the deal-breaker for me.

Great product
5This stuff is great! I use it as my makeup foundation and then use a light dusting of mineral powder over. Done for the day in two minutes! It took a bit of practice to make sure I was distributing it across my face but it does blend well, is not heavy and lasts all day with just minor touch-ups of powder.

Too shiny for me
2I received a free sample of this sunblock, and I would not purchase the full size. I like that it's 100% physical sunblock and that it contains hyaluronic acid and it has some water resistance. But it is too shiny on my combination skin. It just doesn't seem to dry down, ever. I have also had this problem with the Elta UV Clear, the one that's supposed to be good for acne. They claim to be non-comedogenic, but I have a concern that silicones may be clogging my pores, so I can't trust its non-comedogenic claim. If your skin is very dry and you don't have a problem with silicones, this could be a very good sunblock for you, but it is not for me.

Great for daily use on warm days
5This is my go-to sunscreen for warmer days when it's possible to break a bit of a sweat even while just running errands. I'm a male, and the fact that this is tinted allows me to wear this over designer stubble or a short beard without it showing while still affording all of the protection of a physical sunscreen. The tint on this appears to be mostly universal, though I could see how it might possibly show up on extremely fair skintones. I have a cool undertone with neutral beige overtone, and this is fairly invisible on my skin. Compared to Elta MD's older tinted, physical sunscreen UV Physical, I'd say that this feels a bit lighter on the skin, yet both are water-resistant to 40 minutes (perfect for warm weather).

Perfect for daily use - would love a clear version, too!
5I recently received a sample of this at a conference and had to try it right away! It contains hyaluronic acid powder, which is unique. It goes on nicely, moisturizes well, and has a dry finish, unlike the shinier look and feel of some of Elta's other sunscreens (which do absorb, but the effect is not as immediate). I always use a moisturizer under sunscreen, but oilier types could get away without one here. The other nice feature is that it is entirely a physical blocker with zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, it does not contain any of the chemical filters that can be irritating for some people. The tint is the same tone as their tinted Daily and Clear formulations, so it works best for those with a slight yellow undertone. Fortunately it works for me, but I hope they make a clear formula soon! It's nice to be able to apply the same product to face, neck, and chest.

no, orange very orange!
1wow orange, do not buy if very pale, this stuff is super orange, i wish they would make a clear version of this! Even makeup can't hide the orange. I liked that this only has physical ingredients I loved uv clear for a long time until my skin became super allergic to the checmical ingredients in the sunscreen, so i was excited to try this new one but I need a non tinted version as I'm sure many pale girls do!!. This goes on smoother than the physical tint they have and the uv phyrical spf 41(also too dark) and the pure they have both irritated my skin horribly! ... but this is just too much orange not a good look! Oh and the pump sucks not easy to dispense at all!! make a clear in the uv clear pump please!!! would probably be great if the pacakging was the same as the uv clear and this had no tint!!!! It does glide smoothly but I prefer not to look like donald trump for obvious reasons! also im trying to give this one star and its not allowing me, while the texture and scent are great no scent teture glides I had to go down just so i can rate lower because of packaging and color!
