Meet our newest Elements - an antioxidant-rich facial SPF made for skin, not just the sun. The technology in UV AOX Elements not only protects your skin outdoors, with 100% mineral actives to reflect and scatter UVA and UVB rays, but also protects your skin indoors by blocking 56% of HEV (blue light from screens), which is 39% more than our original UV Elements formula. This tinted sunscreen contains antioxidants that help to combat signs of photoaging, such as fine lines and wrinkles, and is proven to reduce detrimental effects of multi-environmental aggressors (i.e., UV, Ozone and PM) by 96%. UV AOX Elements features hyaluronic acid to increase hydration and moisture retention, and bisabolol & ginger root to help calm the skin and visibly reduce redness.

New AOX Formula
As others have stated, the new formula is thicker than the original and although I prefer the old version, I don’t hate this one. I simply mix some of the UV Clear with it to thin it out. The tint provides minimal coverage, but it’s enough to make my pale skin appear a bit healthier and glowy. It’s great for no-makeup days, but also works well underneath my foundation.

Good SPF
I like how its 100% mineral. It's not thick on your skin. The tinted is nice because no white showing on your face. The bottle is not consistent on the pump. This one works but the last one I purchased didn't work and I had to removed the cap each time I used it.

Formula change!
This was my favorite daily sunscreen. Unfortunately they changed the formula. It is now much thicker than the og. I will not repurchase and have been on a search for a replacement. ☹️

I thought I would like the AOX better than the UV clear tinted but I don’t. The AOX is very thick versus the consistency of the other. I still like it and it works well but I will go back to the UV clear when I run out.

New Formula Thoughts
So I've repurchased the previous formula countless times. But I will continue to purchase the new formula too. I have reactive skin, so naturally I was upset that Elta MD would change a perfect formula and I was worried to try it. I've used a whole bottle and purchased a second. I'm happy that I had zero issues with the new formula, but I will say it's definitely more greasy now, so that sucks. RIP to the old and oil free formula... 4/5.

I've tried a few products in this price range and like this best. The tint is very good at preventing white cast and my foundation still looks good on top. It makes being consistent with spf a pleasure.
