A powerful anti-acne regimen begins with a good cleanser. DERMAdoctor Ain't Misbehavin' Medicated AHA/BHA Acne Cleanser clears existing acne and prevents new blemishes with the combined exfoliating action of alpha and beta hydroxy acids. Soap-free, oil-free and pH-balanced to prevent dryness and irritation, the gentle cleanser washes away pore-clogging debris, like dirt, oil, makeup and dead skin cells for a clearer, more radiant complexion. Tube provides approximately 210 applications when used as directed.
Key Ingredients:
- 2% Salicylic Acid (BHA): has the unique ability to exfoliate within the pore and on the skin's surface, which helps to reduce breakouts, including whiteheads and blackheads
- Glycolic Acid (AHA): exfoliates the skin by loosening damaged skin cells, which gives you clearer-looking skin
- Witch Hazel: acts as an astringent to tighten the skin and reduce the appearance of pores
- Allantoin: soothes the skin and defends against irritation
Due to a manufacturer packaging change, item received may vary from product image.
Use am and pm or as directed by a physician or skin care professional. Apply to dry skin and rub gently in a circular motion. Rinse with warm water. Lightly pat dry. Store at room temperature 59-86 degrees F/15-30 degrees C. Once open, most effective when used within 24 months.
Warnings: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a physician. Using other topical acne medications at the same time or immediately following use of this product may increase dryness or irritation of the skin. If this occurs, only one medication should be used unless directed by a doctor.
Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a broad spectrum SPF 30 sunscreen, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards. People who are allergic to salicylates (found in aspirin) should not use products containing willow bark or salicylic acid. Pregnant or nursing women should talk to their doctor before using any products containing salicylic acid.

Blemishes be gone!
Never thought at 37 I would be buying acne wash, but my blackheads keep getting worse along with the breakouts. I can already tell a difference with my skin after using this wash for a week now!!

Love this product!
I have very sensitive, very acne prone skin, and I've been loving using this product for years! I usually do two washes and use it with a clarisonic brush, to make sure I get all makeup off. Highly recommend!

A bit too strong
This cleanser was a bit harsh on my somewhat sensitive skin. Although it worked well for my actual skin, it would dry my lips out so badly after each use that I had to discontinue.

The Most Effective Cleanser I've Ever Used
I've been meaning to review Ain't Misbehavin' for literally three years now. I'm pretty skincare obsessed, and have been loyal to a regimen since I was a teenager (29 now). I bought this first in 2015 when I was going through a really rough patch with my skin, and I was getting a TON of acne- the colorless type under your skin, with lots of bumps on my forehead and chin. I was relentless with my normal Kiehl's routine, which has always been great for me, and nothing changed. I decided I needed to try a new product and bought this, and the DERMAdoctor pore minimizing serum. I started to see a noticeable difference in my skin in just a couple of days. It was the ONLY thing that improved my skin during the worst acne period of my life. Now, 3 years later, my skin is back to it's normal state of being oily in the T-zone, no real acne issues; my biggest issue I fight is clogged pores (hate those little black specks). I bought this again to see if it would be gentle enough to just deal with the dirty pores- and the magic is back! This cleanser is as good as ever, and, from my experience, versatile enough to be used on both serious acne, as well as mostly-fine skin with some dirty pores. Oh, just a note that it does not smell great, but I also don't find it offensive. I buy my skincare based off of the way it performs, not the way it smells, so it's easy for me to look past. I hope they make this cleanser forever!

Best Acne Cleanser
I have hormonal acne on my jawline and cheeks and within a week of using this the breakouts cleared up. I have sensitive skin and this cleanser has not been irritating for me. The only negative is that the cleanser does not do a good job of removing makeup. So, make sure to apply it to dry skin & remove all makeup first. I highly recommend this product and will continue using it!

Great for combination skin but dropping a star for packaging
Great for combination skin with rosacea, doesn't flare up my skin as other acne-clearing cleansers often can. Excellent price point for AHA BHA product since I could not continue to afford Peter Thomas Roth products (too expensive). I cannot use a lot of organic products or natural products as my rosacea gets worse and my dermatologist told me to stay away from products that boast "natural." Dropping 1 star for packaging however. I preferred this product in a tube just as it is pictured; however, the manufacturer changed the packaging to a glass bottle, making it not only heavy, fragile and inconvenient, you cannot get to the bottom of this bottle. Unfortunate as I would like to get to the last drop.

My favorite cleanser
This cleanser is great for removing oil and dirt without drying out skin. It does not foam like a lot of cleansers I have used but is does a great job of cleaning my skin and keeping my acne at bay.
